Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described to reduce interference caused by power leakage. A first user equipment (UE) or a base station may select communication resources for a sidelink communication based on a distance between UEs reserving frequency resources in a same time window. The first UE or the base station may determine a distance parameter between the first UE and one or more other UEs (e.g., including a second UE) reserving frequency resources within the time window. The distance parameter may represent a physical distance between the first and second UEs or a reference signal received power of the second UE as received by the first UE. The first UE or the base station may select communication resources based on whether the distance parameter is below a threshold, and the first UE may communicate the sidelink communication using the selected resources.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A first user equipment (UE) may be configured to transmit a first sidelink message via a sidelink channel using a first set of communication parameters, the first sidelink message including data and a reservation for a retransmission resource for retransmission of the first sidelink message. The first UE may receive, from a second UE, a feedback message including a feedback sequence that indicates a negative acknowledgement (NACK) for the first sidelink message and channel state information (CSI) associated with the sidelink channel. The UE may transmit a second sidelink message including the data of the first sidelink message based on the feedback message, where the second sidelink message is transmitted using a second set of communication parameters, or via at least a second resource different from the retransmission resource, or both.

Abstract: A transmitting sidelink device assigns a transport block (TB) to a logical hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) entity, maps the TB to an carrier, transmits the TB to a receiving sidelink device, the TB is associated with a first sidelink control information (SCI) that cross-references the TB to an identifier of the logical HARQ entity, maps the TB to a different carrier, and retransmits the TB on the different carrier, the retransmitted TB is associated with a second SCI that cross-references the TB to the identifier of the logical HARQ entity. A receiving sidelink device receives the TB and SCI, maps the TB to the identified logical HARQ entity, detects the retransmission, and maps the retransmission to the identified logical HARQ entity. A transmitting sidelink device generates packets in advance and transmits one of the generated packets when required.

A communication device, such as a user equipment (UE) may determine a transmit diversity configuration indicating a transmit diversity criterion for declaring a result of a channel access procedure for a plurality of component carriers in a shared radio frequency spectrum band. The UE may perform the channel access procedure for the plurality of component carriers in the shared radio frequency spectrum band to determine the result of the channel access procedure based at least in part on the transmit diversity criterion. As a result, the UE may transmit or refrain from transmitting a message over at least one component carrier of the plurality of component carriers based at least in part on the result of the channel access procedure.

A user equipment (UE) may determine resource selection priority levels associated with available resources for sidelink signaling in an unlicensed radio frequency spectrum band, the resources selection priority levels may be determined based on resource reservation information of the available resources, a time domain location of the available resources, or both. For example, a first resource of the available resources may be associated with a higher priority than a second resource of the available resources in resource selection. The UE may select one or more resources for the sidelink signaling from the available resources based on the resource selection priority levels associated with the available resources. The UE may transmit the sidelink signaling on the unlicensed radio frequency spectrum band using the one or more selected resources.
