Abstract: When a plurality of the subcarrier spacing values are applied, a reference signal is generated by using a sequence having a sequence length corresponding to a first ratio of a first subcarrier spacing set for transmission data to the maximum settable subcarrier spacing. The sequence of the reference signal is mapped to a frequency resource at mapping intervals in accordance with a second ratio which is the reciprocal of the first ratio, and the transmission data and the reference signal are transmitted.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a mobile terminal and respective operation method. The mobile terminal comprises circuitry, which in operation monitors PDCCH candidates of a first search space set located in a designated first frequency range from the plurality of frequency ranges, and receives a DCI transmitted in the first search space set of the designated first frequency range. The received DCI includes an indication whether or not the mobile terminal is to skip monitoring some specific or all PDCCH candidates in at least one second search space set associated with at least one second frequency range from the plurality of frequency ranges. And only if the indication in the received DCI does not indicate to skip monitoring the specific or all PDCCH candidates, the circuitry additionally monitors the specific or all PDCCH candidates associated with the at least one second frequency range for receiving a DCI thereon.

Abstract: An integrated circuit includes control circuitry and transmitting circuitry. The control circuitry maps data or a reference signal onto resources including orthogonal subcarriers of a first numerology and a second numerology, which differ at least by subcarrier spacing and are frequency-multiplexed on a subcarrier basis. The control circuitry assigns no transmit power to at least one subcarrier located between a subcarrier of the first numerology and a subcarrier of the second numerology. The subcarriers of the second numerology include: inter-numerology-orthogonal subcarriers, each of which is centrally aligned with a subcarrier of the first numerology, and non-inter-numerology-orthogonal subcarriers not centrally aligned with any subcarrier of the first numerology and located between two adjacent subcarriers of the first numerology. The control circuitry assigns no transmit power to at least one of the non-inter-numerology-orthogonal subcarriers. The transmitting circuitry transmits the mapped data or reference signal.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a resource allocation procedure for allocating time-frequency radio resources by a scheduler in a mobile communication system. A plurality of numerology schemes are defined, each partitioning a plurality of radio resources of the mobile communication system into resource scheduling units in a different manner. A reference resource set is defined per numerology scheme, each being associated to a set of radio resources usable for being allocated according to the respective numerology scheme. The reference resource set of at least one numerology scheme overlaps with the reference resource set of at least another numerology scheme in the frequency and/or time domain. The resource allocation procedure is performed for allocating radio resources to one or more user terminals according to the numerology schemes. The resource allocation procedure is performed for each numerology scheme based on a scheduling time interval defined for the respective numerology scheme.
