    Abstract: Example embodiments of the present disclosure relate to sidelink (SL) transmission enhancement. A first device determines a channel occupancy time (COT) to be shared by the first device and at least one second device for transmissions on a shared radio frequency band; selects a first time slot during the COT for a transmission; and performs the transmission in the first time slot by extending the transmission to a first guard period of the first time slot or to a second guard period of a second time slot prior to the first time slot during the COT. By doing so, a channel access procedure requiring a smaller time gap between transmissions can be selected and performed, which can thus improve the flexibility of channel access procedures for SL transmission in the shared frequency band.

    Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to a short control signaling transmission for sidelink communication in an unlicensed spectrum. According to one aspect of the present disclosure, if a control signaling is to be transmitted to a second device via a short control signaling transmission, a first device determines whether the short control signaling transmission is available based on at least information related to a counter, the counter being used for counting occasions within a period for the short control signaling transmission at a sidelink interface. If the short control signaling transmission is available, the first device transmits the control signaling to the second device on a first resource configured for the short control signaling transmission. In this way, constraints for the usage of the short control signaling transmission can be satisfied, and a reliable transmission of sidelink control signaling in the unlicensed spectrum can be achieved.

According to embodiments of the present disclosure, a second device transmits information related to sidelink positioning to a first device.     Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to devices, methods, apparatuses and computer readable storage media of retransmission of sidelink positioning reference signal (PRS). The method comprises transmitting, to a second device, a first sidelink reference signal associated with a positioning or ranging procedure of the first device; and receiving, from the second device, a second sidelink reference signal associated with the positioning or ranging procedure, the second sidelink reference signal comprising information indicating whether the first sidelink reference signal needs to be retransmitted.     Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to devices, methods, apparatuses and computer readable storage media of HARQ for NR sidelink communication in unlicensed spectrum. The method comprises receiving, from a second device, an indication of at least two candidate sets of code domain resources for the first device to transmit a feedback message for a sidelink transmission between the first device and a third device; and transmitting, to the third device, the feedback message on a target set of code domain resources determined from the at least two candidate sets of code domain resources based on a listen before talk procedure. In this way, additional code domain resources may provide more available time occasions as backup resources for HARQ feedback of sidelink transmission in unlicensed band, which may increase reliability of HARQ feedback transmission for sidelink communication in unlicensed spectrum. Hence it can eventually increase spectral efficiency by avoiding unnecessary retransmission of PSCCH/PSSCH, and can also reduce transmission latency in the meantime.
