Abstract: A system, method, and apparatus for implementing workflows across multiple differing systems and devices is provided herein. During operation, a workflow is automatically generated based upon a high probability of overloading resources with a current workflow. In particular, a workstation (or server) detects a high probability that a resource will be overloaded if a particular trigger is implemented. The workstation (or server) then determines an alternate trigger to reduce the chances that a resource will be overloaded. The alternate trigger and action can then be implemented or suggested as a newly-created workflow.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for providing a summary of what is being and/or has been discussed or experienced by members of a talkgroup is provided herein. Upon a new member joining a talkgroup, or just prior to the new member joining the talkgroup, the new member will be placed on a private channel to provide the new member with knowledge on previous discussions/experiences of talkgroup members. Preferably, the prior knowledge will be conveyed to the user audibly by, for example, use of a digital assistant.

METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR DETECTING A TOUCH ON A DEVICE

Abstract: A method and circuitry for detecting a touch on a device is provided herein. Touch-sensing circuitry comprises two antennas coupled to two voltage-controlled oscillators (VCOs). A phase locked loop (PLL) is provided coupled to the VCOs. The PLL compares a VCO output with a frequency source (temperature controlled crystal oscillator (TCXO)), and outputs a tuning voltage (steering voltage) for the VCO that is based on the difference between the VCO frequency and the TCXO frequency. The steering voltages for each VCO are compared, and a decision is made as to whether or not a touch has been made to the antennas. If the antennas have been touched, a location of the touch is determined based on a difference in the steering voltages of the two VCOs.
