Abstract:
The back end position of a pulse, which is transmitted from a remote control, varies according to the transmission distance, and the pulse width changes. A remote control receiver of the present invention detects the pulse width of a header, which is formed at the head of each frame in a remote control signal from the remote control, so as to detect the transmission distance of the remote control signal and a change in back end position of each pulse in a data part, which is transmitted after the header. Then, the back end position of each pulse is corrected to original. This eliminates the change in pulse width resulting from a change in transmission distance, and increases the allowable range of the transmission distance of the remote control.
Abstract:
A wick operating structure of the lever actuation type for an oil burner capable of finely adjusting the combustion with high accuracy during the combustion operation. The structure includes an operation lever for rotating a wick operating shaft which is provided with a drive pin and a plurality of drive levers pivotally moved independent from one another so as to be accessible to the drive pin. The drive levers are formed with a V-shaped recesses which are different in configuration from one another little by little and in which the drive pin is alternatively fitted to cause the operation lever to be pivotally moved to different positions little by little.
Abstract:
An oil reservoir for an oil burner capable of ensuring oil-tightness between the oil reservoir and a partition with simple operation and structure and reducing a manufacturing cost. In the oil reservoir, a partition plate and a cover plate are provided with a plurality of spot welding portions and opposite to each other through an annular overlap formed therebetween. One of the partition plate and cover plate is formed at the overlap with an annular projection which is arranged in a manner to project toward the other to forcedly press the partition plate and cover plate against each other and the overlap is arranged at or near the spot welding portions, whereby the partition plate and cover plate are oil-tightly connected together.
Abstract:
An automatic fire-extinguishing device for an oil burner capable of being manufactured with a low cost, compacted in construction and actuated with high accuracy. In the device, a gear which is loosely fitted on a wick actuating shaft and has a return spring loosely fitted on the shaft and fixed between the gear and a burner body is formed with a cutout about a portion thereof opposite to a stopper engaged with the gear when the gear is at a wick raising position. At the cutout is arranged a stop gear so as to be engaged with the stopper at the wick raising position, which is formed of a material having a friction coefficient smaller than that of the gear.
Abstract:
A catalyst moving structure for an oil burner capable of facilitating handling of the oil burner in the manufacturing and maintenance as well as covering a combustion gas discharge opening of a combustion cylinder construction of the oil burner when a wick operating shaft is rotated to a fire-extinguishing position, to thereby effectively preventing discharge of bad odor during the fire-extinguishing operation. The catalyst moving structure includes a catalyst moving mechanism including a vertically movable sliding shaft and a connecting rod pivotally mounted on the sliding shaft, a catalyst support member mounted on the sliding shaft, and a movement transmission mechanism including a cam device fitted on the wick operating shaft and a push-up lever operatively connected between the cam device and the connecting rod to transmit actuation of the wick operating shaft to the connecting rod to vertically move the sliding shaft.
Abstract:
A combination of a liquid chromatograph and a gas chromatograph was a possible measure for improving precision in analyzing organic chemical substances. However, because elutes from liquid chromatoghaphies contain water and a highly polar solvent, injection thereof into a gas chromatograph has been impossible. Consequently, to develop an analytical method which realizes that combination and an apparatus thereof has been a subject. The method of the quantitative analysis comprises subjecting a sample for analysis prepared beforehand by extracting organic chemical substances from an assay sample to fractionation by a liquid chromatograph, continuously adsorbing a fractionated elute containing a substance to be determined onto a solid-phase cartridge while conducting the fractionation, eluting this substance, which has been adsorbed on the solid-phase cartridge, with an eluent, and transferring the elute to a storage chamber of a gas chromatograph.
Abstract:
As a key sheet for fixing a base sheet and key tops to be arranged on the base sheet using adhesive layers, a key sheet where the key tops and the base sheet are fixed, is obtained by forming printed adhesive layers of the key tops on facing surfaces of at least either of the key tops or the base sheet by means of printing, and then bringing the printed adhesive layer into contact with the other facing surfaces in a softened or molten state, and by curing the printed adhesive layer.
Abstract:
A console for a vehicle includes a sliding-type lid which is mounted on a console body having a tray and which opens and closes an opening in an upper surface of the tray. A goods-supporting member is mounted on the lid and is capable of being selectively moved between an operative position in which it protrudes toward the opening in the tray to prevent the falling-down of goods put in an upright attitude in the tray, and a standby position in which it is housed in the lid, when the lid is in its opened position. Thus, it is possible to prevent the falling-down of the goods put in the upright attitude in the tray without bringing about decrease in internal volume of the tray and increase in size of the console body.
