Abstract:
Example methods and apparatus to monitor tunnels within traffic engineering/fast reroute (TE/FRR) enabled networks are disclosed. A disclosed example apparatus includes a message interface to receive from a router a change alert notification for a traffic engineering (TE) tunnel, a router interrogator to interrogate the router to obtain updated path information for the TE tunnel in response to the received change alert notification, and a topology database interface to update a database representative of a tunnel topology of a TE/FRR enabled network based on the updated path information.
Abstract:
The present invention discloses heavily doped PbSe with high thermoelectric performance. Thermoelectric property measurements disclosed herein indicated that PbSe is high zT material for mid-to-high temperature thermoelectric applications. At 850 K a peak zT>1.3 was observed when nH˜1.0×1020 cm−3. The present invention also discloses that a number of strategies used to improve zT of PbTe, such as alloying with other elements, nanostructuring and band modification may also be used to further improve zT in PbSe.
Abstract:
A method, system and computer program product for providing a service to multiple tenants of an application. Responsive to receiving from a client of a tenant a request, a tenant context of the tenant is bound to the request. With respect to an access to an isolation point of the application in the request, the access to the isolation point is redirected to a partition based on the tenant context bound to the request. The partition may be pre-established for the tenant with respect to the application. Hence, it is possible to provide a multi-tenant solution in a convenient, fast, and cost-effective way, and, in turn, to achieve resource sharing to a greater extent and enhance the resource efficiency.
Abstract:
The description relates to a composition and a method for reducing the concentration of arsenic in water. Contaminated water is contacted with acid-activated clay characterized by a removal efficiency for arsenic of at least 95 wt %. Following sufficient contact, the water is separated from the acid-activated clay. In preferred form, the acid activated clay is characterized by a BET surface area of at least about 200 m2/gram.
Abstract:
Various techniques are provided to facilitate a detection system to detect a presence of an externally coupled receiver device, such as a universal serial bus (USB) device. In one example, the system generates a reference current and passes the reference current via a conductor to a shared buffer circuit. The shared buffer circuit is adapted to selectively pass the reference current or a communication signal to the externally coupled receiver device. The system switches between a detect mode where the reference current is provided to the externally coupled receiver device and between a communicate mode where the reference current is blocked and the communication signal is provided to the externally coupled receiver device. The system monitors a voltage value of the conductor and the system monitors a time for the voltage value to reach a pre-determined threshold value in response to the reference current. The system detects a presence of the externally coupled receiver device based on the monitored time.

Abstract:
Running of a root instance of an application is started. The root instance includes at least one thread. In response to determining that a thread of the root instance runs to a preset freezing point in the application, running of all threads of the root instance is stopped. In response to starting to run an additional instance of the application, a running state of all threads of the root instance is replicated as a running state of all threads of the additional instance of the application. Running all threads of the additional instance of the application is continued.
Abstract:
The present invention demonstrates that weak scattering of carriers leads to a high mobility and therefore helps achieve low electric resistivity with high Seebeck coefficient for a thermoelectric material. The inventors demonstrate this effect by obtaining a thermoelectric figure of merit, zT, higher than 1.3 at high temperatures in n-type PbSe, because of the weak scattering of carriers in the conduction band as compared with that in the valence band. The invention further demonstrates favorable thermoelectric transport properties of n-type PbTe1-xIx with carrier concentrations ranging from 5.8×1018-1.4×1020 cm−3.
Abstract:
The disclosure relates to a method for displaying micro-blog messages, which includes: when the users look up the list roster, the micro-blog terminal sends an obtaining request to the micro-blog server, receives and display the list roster fed back by the micro-blog server; when any one of the micro-blog list is selected from the list roster, the micro-blog terminal writes a name of the chosen micro-blog list into a new displaying page, and sending a message list request to the micro-blog server; the micro-blog terminal receives the message list of the chosen micro-blog list that is fed back from the micro-blog server, and displaying the message list of the chosen micro-blog list on the new message displaying page. It is disclosed a system for displaying micro-blog messages, a micro-blog terminal, server, and storage medium thereof.
