An apparatus and method for transmitting and receiving magnetic field signals in a magnetic field communication system are provided. The apparatus includes a controller configured to generate a communication signal, matching units that are configured to receive the communication signal and that respectively correspond to different matching frequencies, and loop antennas that are connected to the matching units, respectively, and that are configured to convert communication signals according to the different matching frequencies into magnetic transmission signals in the form of magnetic field energy and to transmit the magnetic transmission signals.

Disclosed is a transceiver of outputting a microwave signal and a therapy system including the transceiver, the transceiver including a signal attenuator to control an intensity of a microwave signal based on corrected information, a phase shifter to control a phase of the microwave signal based on the corrected information, a signal switch to control a turning-on/off of the microwave signal based on on/off information, a power amplifier to amplify the microwave signal, a detector to calculate a difference between the microwave signal and a result of the amplifying, and a self-monitoring controller to generate the corrected information based on the difference, phase information, and intensity information, output the corrected information to the signal attenuator and the phase shifter, generate the on/off information, and output the on/off information to the signal switch.

Disclosed is an apparatus and a method for efficiently controlling a temperature, which are capable of minimizing a temperature deviation and decreasing a temperature control time by simultaneously controlling temperatures of matching material used in a microwave imaging system in a main water tank and an auxiliary water tank, and preventing an amplitude and phase information of the microwaves obtained by the microwave imaging system from deteriorating over a lapse of time.
Abstract:
An apparatus and method of controlling a temperature of a matching material used in an apparatus for generating a tomographic image is disclosed. The method includes measuring a temperature of a matching material in which an object is immersed in an apparatus for measuring a shape of an object, setting a set temperature at which an amplitude and a phase of an electromagnetic wave that passes through the matching material are maintained, based on the measured temperature of the matching material, and controlling the temperature of the matching material to be higher than the set temperature.
