Abstract: A bendable torque wrench includes: a shank; a tubular body whose front end is angularly displaceable with respect to the shank about an axis defined by a first pivotal connection end of the shank; an abutting block located on one side of the tubular body, a the front end of the abutting block has a convexly curved abutting surface; and a detent member whose front end is pivotally connected to a second pivotal connection end of the shank and whose rear end forms a convexly curved contact surface in elastic contact with the curved abutting surface of the abutting block. The torque wrench bends, or collapses, rapidly when the torque applied to the torque wrench reaches a preset torque value.

Abstract: A setting method for an electronic torque tool is disclosed. The electronic torque tool includes a tool body that stores at least one operation set. The operation set includes at least one adjustable operation parameter of the electronic torque tool. The setting method can be used to adjust the operation parameter in the operation set and includes a setting step and a storing step. The setting step includes entering the operation set and adjusting the operation parameter therein. The storing step includes storing the adjusted operation parameter in the operation set directly after an operator quits the operation set or turns off the electronic torque tool during the setting step. The setting method allows the operation parameter in the operation set to be easily and rapidly set or adjusted, thereby making the electronic torque tool easy to use and operate.

Abstract: A torque wrench with elastic member includes a tubular body in which an elastic member is disposed for adjusting the torque value of the torque wrench. The elastic member is in the form of a plate body having a front connection section, a rear connection section and at least one bent section positioned between the front and rear connection sections. The front and rear connection sections of the elastic member respectively abut against a click mechanism disposed in front of the elastic member and an adjustment mechanism disposed behind the elastic member, whereby the elastic member can be compressed or released to adjust the torque value of the torque wrench. The elastic member has a novel structure and can ensure the stability of the torque wrench in use and enhance the utility of the torque wrench.

Abstract: A hand tool includes a handle, a press member, a shank body and multiple latch assemblies. The handle is formed with a receiving cavity and a locating hole in communication with the receiving cavity. The press member is movably disposed in the locating hole. The shank body is fitted in the receiving cavity and movable relative to the handle. The shank body is formed with multiple sockets. The latch assemblies are respectively mounted in the sockets. When the shank body is moved, (for example, slid or rotated) relative to the handle to make one of the sockets aligned with the locating hole, the latch assembly latches the shank body with the handle. When pressing the press member, the latch assembly unlatches the shank body from the handle, the shank body is movable relative to the handle.

Abstract: A bolt tension gauging apparatus is provided with a bolt assembly including a bolt having a top cavity on a head and a recess on a surface of a threaded shank, and a covering element fitted onto the recess; an electrical resonant transformer on a bottom of the covering member; and a force transducer and transmitter assembly in the recess and electrically connected to the transformer. An electrical resonant transformation device causes the transformer to harvest power from radio frequency electromagnetic waves if a distance between the transformation device and the transformer is sufficiently short. The force transducer and transmitter assembly gauges tension of the bolt and converts same into a signal. The signal is transmitted to a controller and display device for calculating a difference between a predetermined tension and the gauged tension. An alert is generated if the gauged tension is greater than the predetermined tension.
