摘要： A device for the spraying of fluids includes an air pump which can be driven electrically via a switch, a container for the fluid to be sprayed, and a nozzle whose air inlet opening is connected with the air pump via a compressed air duct, a valve which, together with a switch, can be actuated in such a way that, in order to initiate a spraying process, the switch is first closed and the valve then opens connections between the compressed air duct and an air space of the container the fluid conduit and the fluid inlet opening. At the conclusion of the spraying process, the fluid conduit and the connection between the compressed air duct and the interior of the container are blocked, and a connection between the compressed air duct and the fluid inlet opening is opened.

The holder has a shell-like rest enclosing a lower portion of the tool portion and is structured to be changeable from a first configuration, in which the tool portion is supported by the holder and is removable for battery-powered operation, to a second configuration, in which the tool portion with the holder attached can be used for line-powered operation. The holder has a first leg extending longitudinally along a larger part of one side of the tool portion when the tool portion is in the holder, a second leg pivotally connected to one end of the first leg and acting as a supporting limb and a spreading spring connected to the second leg to urge the second leg from the first leg into a spread position so the tool portion and holder can stand together on a surface during battery charging. The second leg is provided with a plurality of catches engagable in cavities in the tool portion when the second leg is engaged with the first leg to form a compact structure together with the tool portion during line-powered operation.

Also disclosed are new 2-nitroanitrile derivatives of the general formula II: ##STR2## in which R.sup.a and R.sup.b denote, independent of one another, ethyl, a monohydroxylalkyl of 2 to 4 carbon atoms or a dihydroxyalkyl of 3 or 4 carbon atoms, when Z is methyl, Cl or Br; or when Z is CH.sub.2 OH or a perfluoroalkyl, R.sup.a denotes hydrogen, a monohydroxyalkyl of 2 to 4 carbon atoms or a dihydroxyalkyl of 3 or 4 carbon atoms, and R.sup.b represents 2-hydroxyethyl or 2,3-dihydroxypropyl.

摘要： The quaternary chitosan derivatives useful in cosmetic compositions are made by a process comprising reacting a chitosan consisting of 50 to 100% deacetylized chitin or a structurally modified chitosan made by reprecipitating and deep freezing, with glycidyl trialkyl ammonium halogenide, particularly glycidyl trimethyl ammonium chloride, and, if necessary, with glycidol. The reaction mixture is advantageously stirred for several hours at 10.degree. to 100.degree. C. The reaction may be performed in the presence of an organic or inorganic acid or base in water.

摘要： Skin treating composition on the basis of compatible carrier and additional compositions with a content of a defined tetrahydro-1,3-thiazine-2,4-dion derivatives as active ingredients for thickening the epidermis. The skin treating compositions are applied 1-2 times daily onto the skin for about 3 to 4 weeks. Due to the thickening of the epidermis they cause a reinforcement of the skin, in particular against sun rays, cold and the contact with noxious environmental substances of all kinds. Moreover, the skin treating compositions are suitable for a prophylactic fighting of the so-called old age skin. An object of the invention are novel tetrahydro-1,3-thiazine-2,4-dion derivative which are active in the aforementioned manner having the formula ##STR1## wherein R denotes H, alkyl, aryl, arylalkyl has substituted arylalkyl or substituted aryl in the aryl portion, R.sup.2 =H is aryl or substituted aryl, R.sup.b =H, denotes aryl or substituted aryl and R.sup.3 =H, represents alkyl or aryl, provided that R.sup.a, R.sup.b and R.sup.c only simultaneously denote H when R denotes a substituted arylalkyl in the aryl portion and R denotes H, but only if R.sup.a =HR.sup.b =aryl and R.sup.c constitute=H.
