Abstract: An electronic device and an operating method thereof may be configured to detect input data having a first time interval, detect first prediction data having a second time interval based on the input data using a preset recursive network, and detect second prediction data having a third time interval based on the input data and the first prediction data using the recursive network. The recursive network may include an encoder configured to detect each of a plurality of feature vectors based on at least one of the input data or the first prediction data, an attention module configured to calculate each of pieces of importance of the feature vectors by calculating the importance of each feature vector, and a decoder configured to output at least one of the first prediction data or the second prediction data using the feature vectors based on the pieces of importance.

Abstract: An analog-digital converter includes a first analog-digital conversion unit configured to, during a first analog-digital conversion operation, sequentially charge each of n first differential node pairs, in response to a respective one of a differential sampling signal pair and first to (n−1)th differential signal pairs among n differential signal pairs, in response to each of the n first differential node pairs being sequentially charged, sequentially generate each of n first differential data pairs, and sequentially generate each of n upper differential data pairs to be used as n-bit upper digital data, in response to a respective one of the sequentially-generated n first differential data pairs. The first analog-digital conversion unit is further configured to, during a second analog-digital conversion operation, simultaneously discharge each of the n first differential node pairs, in response to a nth differential signal pair among the n differential signal pairs.

Abstract: A silicon phased array based LiDAR device that measures a distance using a quasi-frequency modulation is disclosed. A LiDAR device according to an exemplary embodiment of the inventive concept includes a light source that generates an optical signal, an optical modulator that generates a first optical signal having a quasi-frequency whose a modulation frequency constantly varies with time by modulating a light intensity of the optical signal, an optical splitter that splits optical power of the first optical signal into a reference optical signal and a transmit (Tx) optical signal, an optical transmitter that receives and emits the Tx optical signal toward an object, an optical receiver that receives a receive (Rx) optical signal reflected from the object and transfers the Rx optical signal, an optical coupler that mixes the reference optical signal and the Rx optical signal, a balanced photodetector that detects an intermediate frequency from the optical signal transferred from the optical coupler and a distance calculator that obtains distance information by measuring the intermediate frequency.

Abstract: Disclosed are an electrode for secondary batteries containing a high-density carbon defect structure and a method of producing the same. The electrode can prevent deterioration of battery performance due to dendrite formation by inhibiting self-diffusion and aggregation of metal nuclei, and can exhibit an unprecedentedly high number of charge/discharge cycles and excellent energy efficiency by uniformly electrodepositing metal ions on the surface of the electrode. When the method of producing a carbon electrode for a secondary battery is used, an electrode containing a high-density carbon defect structure can be produced, and thus a battery with higher efficiency and a longer lifespan can be produced. The secondary battery comprising the electrode is useful for fields related to medium/large-scale energy storage technology, in particular, for mobile devices, automobile batteries, and renewable-energy power generation systems.

Abstract: Various embodiments may provide a highly efficient micro light-emitting diode (LED) in a low current range, a method of fabricating the same, and a display including the same. The micro LED includes a first conductive type semiconductor layer and a second conductive type semiconductor layer and an active layer disposed between the first conductive type semiconductor layer and the second conductive type semiconductor layer and having a single quantum well structure. The single quantum well structure may be formed so that a ratio of a conduction band offset of any one of the first conductive type semiconductor layer or the second conductive type semiconductor layer and a valence band offset of the other of the first conductive type semiconductor layer or the second conductive type semiconductor layer becomes greater than 0 and less than 1.
