    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Aspects of the present disclosure provide for a user equipment (UE) performing contention-based access to utilize historical pathloss measurements to identify available resources for beamformed sidelink communications. The historical pathloss measurements may be obtained by the UE, by one or more other UEs, or both, where the UE may combine its own historical pathloss measurements with historical pathloss measurements obtained at the one or more other UEs. Such historical pathloss measurements may allow the UE to determine if one or more beam combinations associated with the resources may cause unacceptable interference (e.g., interference satisfying a threshold) while reducing signaling overhead associated with exchanges of inter-UE coordination messages. Accordingly, the UE may determine to yield transmissions over one or more resources or to yield reception to allow other UEs to utilize the one or more resources.

A first user equipment (UE) may receive an inter-UE coordination request message from a second UE, the inter-UE coordination request message identifying a request for resource scheduling information for the first UE, the second UE, or both. The first UE may transmit an inter-UE coordination response message comprising the scheduling information to the second UE, the scheduling information comprising an indication of one or more of a resource block set and interlacing pattern frequency configuration for multi-slot burst communications between the first UE and the second UE or a starting slot and slot burst length configuration for the multi-slot burst communications between the first UE and the second UE.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices supporting flexible frequency domain resource allocation (FDRA) for sidelink are described. For example, a wireless device may receive, over a sidelink channel, control information including a parameter associated with a first FDRA of a first transport block (TB) associated with an initial transmission and an indication of a second FDRA of a second TB associated with a subsequent transmission after the initial transmission. The wireless device may identify the first FDRA of the first TB based on receiving the control information and may communicate one or more signals over the sidelink channel based on identifying the first FDRA of the first TB and receiving the indication of the second FDRA of the second TB. In some examples, the wireless device may receive, over a second sidelink channel, second control information including a second parameter associated with a size of the second TB.
