Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. Some wireless communications systems may support interference reporting as a mixture distribution model. A user equipment (UE) may receive signals via one or more interference measurement resources. The UE may obtain interference measurements for a wireless communication channel based on the signals. The UE may transmit an interference report to a network entity that indicates a respective set of one or more distribution parameters for each probability distribution of a set of multiple probability distributions of the mixture distribution. Each probability distribution may correspond to a respective component of the mixture distribution. The network entity may schedule wireless communications with the UE based on the interference report and the mixture distribution.

Abstract: A method for wireless communication performed by a user equipment (UE) includes performing an access procedure to connect with a network comprising multiple wireless network nodes. The method also includes receiving a communication parameter message indicating multiple communication parameter sets based on performing the access procedure. Each communication parameter set may be associated with a single respective connection mode of multiple connection modes, and each connection mode may be associated with one or more respective wireless network nodes of the multiple wireless network nodes. The method also includes receiving signaling configuring the UE to use a connection mode of the multiple connection modes. The method further includes communicating with the one or more wireless network nodes of the multiple wireless network nodes, according to a communication parameter set associated with the connection mode, based on receiving the signaling. The one or more wireless network nodes may be associated with the connection mode.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may transmit a first-attempt random access preamble to a base station via a first frequency resource. The first frequency resource may be within a first bandwidth part (BWP), a first component carrier (CC), a first frequency subband, or any combination thereof. If the UE fails to detect a random access response (RAR) for the first-attempt random access preamble within the time period, the UE may transmit a second-attempt random access preamble to the base station. In some examples, the UE may transmit the second-attempt random access preamble via a different, second frequency resource, which may be within a second BWP, a second CC, a second frequency subband, or any combination thereof. The base station may transmit an indication of the second frequency resource to the UE.

Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for maintaining, between a user equipment (UE) and a component of a base station (BS), a mutual understanding of multiple sets of linked physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) candidates if some PDCCH candidates of the multiple sets of linked PDCCH candidates occupy a same set of resources. In one aspect, the UE may select to monitor one of the PDCCH candidates that occupy the same set of resources in accordance with a prioritization rule. Upon selecting one of the PDCCH candidates that occupy the same set of resources for monitoring by the UE, the UE and the component of the BS may select a reference PDCCH candidate for one or more of the multiple sets of PDCCH candidates in accordance with a reference selection rule.

Abstract: Certain aspects provide enhancements to enable per transmission reception point (per-TRP) based beam failure recovery (BFR), and more particularly, techniques for configuring physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) BFR for TRP specific BFR. A method that may be performed by a user equipment (UE) includes communicating with at least two TRPs using beams associated with at least two beam groups, each of the beams groups associated with one of the TRPs, detecting a beam failure in a beam group of the at least two beam groups, transmitting a beam group specific BFR scheduling request (SR), in accordance with one or more rules, for an uplink (UL) grant to transmit a beam failure recovery request (BFRQ) specific to the beam group in which the beam failure was detected, receiving the UL grant in response to the SR, and transmitting the BFRQ specific to the beam group based on the UL grant.

In an example, a first user equipment (UE) may receive a multi-opportunity grant from a network entity, the multi-opportunity grant indicating multiple listen-before-talk (LBT) opportunities for scheduling a transmission between the first UE and a second UE; perform a LBT procedure for one or more slots of a plurality of slots indicated by the multiple LBT opportunities; select a first slot of the plurality of slots corresponding to an earliest available LBT based on performing the LBT procedure; and communicate a transmission to the second UE during the transmission time interval (TTI) of the first slot.
