Abstract: Coordinated wireless communications using multiple transmission time intervals (TTIs) are described. Multiple TTIs may include a first TTI and a second TTI, the second TTI having a shorter duration than the first TTI. One or more parameters may be determined for communications using the first TTI and the second TTI. A first parameter of the determined parameters for the second TTI may be associated or linked with a corresponding parameter of the first TTI, and communications using the first TTI or the second TTI may be performed using the first parameter. Wireless network nodes using the first TTI may form a CoMP cooperating set, and wireless network nodes using the second TTI may for another CoMP cooperating set, and the first parameter may be applied to each of the CoMP cooperating sets.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. A wireless device may establish a configuration for at least one carrier based on multiple transmission time interval (TTI) lengths. Several TTI lengths may be associated in a TTI group, and aspects of the configuration may be the same for all TTIs having a TTI length in the TTI group. The device may then communicate using the carrier configuration based on the TTI group. In some cases, a second TTI group with different TTI lengths from the first group may also be identified, and the device may communicate using TTI from the second group using a different TTI group configuration. Aspects of a TTI group configuration may include a common control channel format, resource allocation granularity, hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) process, HARQ timing, soft buffer size, channel state information (CSI) reporting configuration, or an uplink control channel.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described that provide for uplink common burst symbol waveform selection and configuration. A waveform for the uplink common burst symbol may be selected to be a single-carrier frequency division multiplexing (SC-FDM) waveform, an orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) waveform, or combinations thereof, based at least in part on information that is to be transmitted. A pattern for SC-FDM sequences may be selected to provide enhanced channel estimation through common pilot tones across different sequences, wideband or narrowband sequences may be selected based at least in part on information to be transmitted, and acknowledgment feedback may be transmitted in an end portion of the uplink common burst symbol in some cases to provide additional processing time for determining the acknowledgment feedback.

Abstract: Described techniques provide for prioritization of radio bearers and logical channels based on mixed TTI durations or numerologies of the bearers or logical channels. Two or more bearers may be identified for uplink data transmission that carry data to be transmitted using different TTI durations or numerologies. Each bearer may be prioritized based on the associated bearer type, TTI duration or numerology, or combinations thereof. Additionally, one or more logical channels may be associated with one or more bearers, and also prioritized based on the associated bearer type, TTI duration or numerology, or combinations thereof. A buffer status report (BSR) may be generated that has one or more portions associated with the different priorities of bearers or logical channels. Buffer information associated with the higher priority bearers or logical channels may be provided ahead of buffer information associated with lower priority bearers or logical channels.

Abstract: Wireless devices may exchange data related to multiple available random access procedures for network access. A random access procedure of the available random access procedures may be selected, and a random access message transmitted based on the selected random access procedure. Available random access procedures may include procedures that provide for a different number of random access messages or that are for use in communications having different transmission time intervals (TTIs). The available random access procedures may include a contention-based random access procedure, in which an initial random access message may include a payload. In some examples, a number of random access resources may be provided within different frequency resources available to provide efficient usage of a channel bandwidth.
