    摘要: A covering system that covers an end pipe of a chimney system. A portion of the end pipe protrudes from the roof of a house or building where the chimney system is located. The system comprises of at least two base supports that sit on the roof. A channel spanning around the end pipe of the chimney system that protrudes from the roof. The base supports are attached at the base of the channel. The base has a protruding section whose dimensions are larger than the channel. A collar covering having a first and a second opening. The collar covers the protruding section of the base by its first opening and receives the channel at its second opening. A crown top base that slides inside of the channel from the top.

    摘要: A stack, having improved efficiency, for venting exhaust gases from a combustion chamber of a solid fuel burning apparatus, such as a boiler, to a flue. The stack, which can be retrofitted to certain wood burning furnaces or boilers includes an elongated tubular member having a first end, a second end and at least one inlet proximate the first end. The second end of the elongated tubular member defines an outlet which is adapted to register with a flue so as to vent combustion, or exhaust, gases from the combustion chamber to the atmosphere. Further, the stack includes at least one conduit member which is in fluid communication with the first tubular member. The conduit member includes an open end adapted to be in fluid communication with the combustion chamber and an oppositely disposed closed end which is proximate the inlet of the elongated tubular member and is in fluid communication with the inlet of the elongated member. The conduit member(s), defines a channel for communicating exhaust gases from the open end of the conduit member to the inlet of the elongated member creating a tortuous airflow path for combustion gases from the combustion chamber to the chimney via the open end of the conduit member through the outlet of the elongated tubular member to the flue.

    摘要: Vent terminal apparatus and methods are provided for covering vent pipes in an HVAC system, e.g., air intake and combustion gas exhaust pipes of a furnace or boiler. The vent terminal includes a body defining a shielded air inlet configured to fluidly communicate with an air intake pipe, and an exhaust opening configured to fluidly communicate with an exhaust pipe. The vent terminal also includes a nozzle configured to couple with the body and defining a flowpath therethrough. When the exhaust opening of the body is in fluid communication with the exhaust pipe and the nozzle is coupled with the body, the flowpath is in fluid communication with the exhaust pipe via the exhaust opening and the flowpath is oriented at an acute angle relative to the exhaust pipe.
