摘要： A shelving unit for supporting objects in a vehicle includes one or more adjustable shelves all extending transversely and horizontally between a pair of upright side panels. A rear vertical rail extends along one edge of each of the side panels and defines a plurality of slot shaped rear apertures. A front vertical rail extends along an opposite and parallel edge of each side panel. Each adjustable shelf includes a pair of shelf sides extending parallel to and adjacent the side panels. A flange extends outwardly from each of the shelf sides with a bolt attaching the flange to a front vertical rail and applying a rearward biasing force to the adjustable shelf. A rear tab extends rearwardly from each of the shelf sides and is angled laterally inwardly to engage a rear aperture in a wedging force-fit in response to the rearward biasing force.

摘要： A storage rack system with tapered storage rack arms and a protective device for covering the exposed outer ends of the storage rack arms. The tapered storage rack arms have tapered lower sides and may have upwardly inclined upper sides. The tapered lower sides allow material to be loaded onto subjacent storage rack arms without scraping or colliding with the lower sides or exposed outer ends of the tapered storage rack arms located above. The protective device utilizes an arcuately shaped member attached to a support member. The support member of the protective device is attached to the exposed outer end of the storage rack arm of the storage rack unit. The protective device prevents collision with the exposed outer ends of the storage rack arms by personnel, customers, equipment and material.

摘要： A frame type, heavy duty storage rack corner post is formed of sheet metal which is bent into a rear wall, integral side walls and front wall sections that are spaced apart to form a central slot extending the height of the post. The free edges of the front wall sections are bent outwardly to form a pair of parallel base walls which terminate in oppositely extending flanges, so that the front wall sections, base walls and flanges form oppositely opening, aligned vertically extending channels along the height of the post. The channel base walls are provided with a series of holes, with the holes in one aligned horizontally with the holes in the other. The channels are of a width to snugly receive a nut so that a screw may be inserted through a pair of aligned holes and threadedly engaged with the nut for turning the screw while the nut is held stationary by the channel walls.

摘要： A bracket, particularly for interconnecting a shelf and a gable comprises a transverse channel for the shelf and a through aperture, which opens into said channel, for a screw by means of which the shelf is intended to be connected to the gable. To reduce the strain on the transverse end edges of the shelf when it is subjected to forces in its longitudinal direction the extension of the bracket, when measured perpendicularly to the shelf, is at least two and preferably more than three times as great as the thickness of the shelf. On that side of the bracket which in the operative position of the bracket is turned away from the shelf and faces the gable, the bracket has a preferably central recess for restricting the engagement between the bracket and the gable to those marginal portions of the bracket which are located farthest away from the shelf.
