摘要: According to the invention a safety device for a pre-filled syringe comprises a substantially cylindrical and hollow support body and a hollow needle shield slideably arranged relative to the support body. The support body comprises at least one resilient arm and the hollow needle shield or a needle shield assembly comprises at least one curved actuation ramp. The curved actuation ramp protrudes in a lateral direction (L) perpendicular to a central axis (A) of the safety device. The curved actuation ramp comprises a first lateral dimension (L1) at a proximal end of the needle shield and a second lateral dimension (L2) exceeding the first lateral dimension (L1) at a distal end of the needle shield. The resilient arm engages the curved actuation ramp when the needle shield is slid relative to the support body.

摘要: A drug delivery device for setting and dispensing a dose of a drug is presented having a support body having a first end defining a first opening and a second end defining a second opening and a centered outer indicator ring. A syringe barrel sealed by a stopper is slidably diposed therein along an axial direction and adapted to have an integrated needle or to be coupled with a needle assembly, wherein the syringe barrel is positioned within the support body. A needle shield is adapted to be coupled to one fo the ends of the support body and slidably disposed thereon. An outer body is adapted to be coupled to the other end of the support body and slidably disposed thereon, wherein the outer indicator ring limits the movement of the outer body as well as of the needle shield.

摘要: The invention relates to a drug delivery device for setting and dispensing a dose of a drug, comprising: a support body having a first end defining a first opening and a second end defining a second opening, the support body configured to retain a syringe barrel sealed by a stopper slidably disposed therein along an axial direction and adapted to have an integrated needle or to be coupled with a needle assembly, a needle shield adapted to be coupled to one of the ends of the support body, slidably disposed thereon and keyed to the support body for preventing relative rotation, wherein at least one guiding track is defined on the support body and at least one retaining clip arranged on the needle shield is deflectable by the guiding track, wherein the guiding track is configured such that the retaining clip follows a first path when the needle shield is depressed from an extended position to a retracted position for needle extension and that the retaining clip follows a different second path when the needle shield is subsequently extended, wherein a non-return catch is arranged for catching the retaining clip at the end of the second path.

摘要: Described is a needle safety device comprising a needle hub having an inner surface with a bearing element, a needle coupled to the needle hub and having a distal tip, a needle shield telescopically coupled to the needle hub. The needle shield comprises an outer sleeve coupled to an inner sleeve by a biasing element. In a first axial position (PA1), the needle shield covers the distal tip of the needle. In a second axial position (PA2), the needle shield moves proximally relative to the needle hub to expose the distal tip of the needle, the outer sleeve locks to the needle hub and the biasing element deforms around the bearing element. In a third axial position (PA3), the biasing element expands, forcing the inner sleeve distally relative to the needle hub and covering the distal tip of the needle.

摘要: Described is a needle safety device comprising a needle hub adapted to couple to an injection device a needle coupled to the needle hub and having a distal tip, a needle shield telescopically coupled to the needle hub and including a biasing element, and a locking element arranged on the needle hub. When the needle shield is in a first axial position, the needle shield covers the distal tip of the needle. When the needle shield is in a second axial position, the needle shield moves proximally relative to the needle hub to expose the distal tip of the needle and the locking element deflects the biasing element. When the needle shield is in a third axial position, the locking element engages the biasing element and the needle shield covers the distal tip of the needle.
