Abstract: A washing machine includes a door and an auxiliary washing unit that may be readily fastened to each other by a locking unit for fastening the door and the auxiliary washing unit. The washing machine includes a main body in which an opening is formed, a door that opens and closes the opening, an auxiliary washing unit that is provided on an inner side of the door to form an auxiliary washing space, and a locking unit that locks the door and the auxiliary washing unit. Here, the locking unit may perform linear motion in one direction to lock or unlock the door and the auxiliary washing unit.

Abstract: Disclosed herein is a washing machine, which includes a clutch unit provided to be able to selectively transmit power generated from a drive unit to a drum and a pulsator. The clutch unit includes an outer shaft that is connected to the drum at an upper side thereof and rotates the drum, an inner shaft that is located in the outer shaft, is connected to the pulsator at an upper side thereof, and rotates the pulsator, and a one-way bearing that is installed between the inner shaft and the outer shaft. The one-way bearing selectively transmits a rotating force from the outer shaft to the inner shaft according to a rotating direction of the outer shaft. With this configuration, it is possible to simplify a structure of the clutch unit and to use space efficiently.

Abstract: An electronic device and method for measuring user body information are provided. The method for measuring user body information includes detecting a contact of a user's body portion on at least two spots of a touch screen of the electronic device, upon detecting the contact of the user's body portion on the at least two spots of the touch screen, applying power to a first coil in the electronic device, and measuring the user body information using at least one of a voltage and a second current measured after a first current is induced across the user's body by a first magnetic field generated from the first coil as the power is applied.
