    Abstract: A refrigerator includes a driving coupler to transmit a driving force and a connecting member to transmit the driving force of the driving coupler to a transfer member. The connecting member is rotated when interference with the driving coupler occurs in a process of connecting with the driving coupler and idles within a predetermined angle range regardless of the transfer member. With this constitution, even when ice cubes are loaded by the transfer member, the connecting member may be smoothly rotated. Thus, the driving coupler and the connecting member may be smoothly connected without an impact.

    Abstract: A water pocket with an open top side is filled with water, mounted in a regular position on a supporting frame, and tilts to supply the water stored in the water pocket to an ice making tray, thereby easily supplying a required amount of water to the ice making tray. A refrigerator includes an ice making tray provided to linearly move with rotation when ice of the ice making tray is separated, or includes a holding preventing member which prevents the ice from being caught by a lower ice making tray, thereby improving a forward-and-backward width of an ice maker. It is possible to easily withdraw ice stored in an ice bucket by pushing an ice discharge button in a state in which the ice bucket is not separated.

A refrigerator includes a defrost heater, a lower cool air duct including a first flow path configured to guide cool air generated by the evaporator to be supplied to the storage compartment and an upper cool air duct disposed in an upper side of the lower cool air duct and provided with a second flow path configured to guide cool air generated by the evaporator to be supplied to the storage compartment. A cool pack in which cold storage material is filled stores cold storage energy from cool air that is delivered to the second flow path to decrease a temperature of air passing via the second flow path, so that increase of an internal temperature of the storage compartment is delayed.
