    Abstract: Provided are a dryer and method for controlling the same, which may appropriately and efficiently dry objects thrown into a receiving space by using high frequency electric fields and heated air. In accordance with one aspect of the present disclosure a dryer includes a main body, a drum rotationally placed inside the main body, a driver provides rotational force to the drum, an electrode part produces an electric field inside the drum, a power supplier supplies power to the electrode part, an air heater heats air, a blower supplies heated air into the drum and a controller controls the power supplier to block power supplied to the electrode part depending on a dried state of an object contained in the drum, controls the driver to rotate the drum, and controls the air heater and the blower to supply heated air into the drum.

    Abstract: A probe for an ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus which is used for performing a test upon a subject is provided. The probe includes a case which forms an exterior of the probe, a piezoelectric object which is provided on an inside of the case and which generates an ultrasonic wave, a sound absorbing layer which is provided at a rear surface of the piezoelectric object and which prevents the ultrasonic wave from being delivered to a rear portion of the piezoelectric object, an acoustic matching layer which delivers the generated ultrasonic wave to a subject by matching a sound impedance of the piezoelectric object with a sound impedance of the subject, and a sound lens which concentrates the generated ultrasonic wave and radiates the concentrated ultrasonic wave toward the subject.

    Abstract: A semiconductor light emitting device includes a stacked semiconductor structure including a first conductivity-type semiconductor layer having a top surface divided into a first region and a second region, and an active layer and a second conductivity-type semiconductor layer disposed sequentially on the second region of the first conductivity-type semiconductor layer. First and second contact electrodes are disposed in the first region of the first conductivity-type semiconductor layer and the second conductivity-type semiconductor layer, respectively. A current spreading layer is disposed on the second contact electrode and comprises a first conductive layer having a first resistivity and a second conductive layer having a second resistivity smaller than the first resistivity alternately stacked.
