Abstract: A method for operating an electronic device is provided. The method includes identifying time information of at least one counterpart electronic device, displaying the time information of the counterpart electronic device when an application program for displaying time information is executed, when time change information of the counterpart electronic device is received, changing the time information of the counterpart electronic device according to the time change information, and displaying changed time information of the counterpart electronic device when the application program for displaying time information is executed.
