Abstract:
A method of controlling a wireless audio signal in order to avoid frequency interference between a display apparatus with a multi-view function and glasses with a function of receiving a wireless audio signal is provided. The method of controlling a wireless audio signal in a wireless audio signal transmitting device includes: pairing with a wireless audio signal receiving device using a first frequency band; detecting frequency interference by an external device other than the paired wireless audio signal receiving device; scanning a frequency when frequency interference is detected; determining whether a frequency change is needed using information related to the scanned frequency; and changing an audio signal transmitting frequency when frequency change is needed.
Abstract:
A display apparatus is provided. The display apparatus includes: a video processor which, in a multi-view mode, processes a plurality of contents and generates a plurality of content views, a display which displays the plurality of content views, a sync signal generator which generates a sync signal regarding the plurality of content views, a communicator which transmits the sync signal, and a controller which, upon communicating with a glasses apparatus, transmits information on a target content view which is controllable from among the plurality of content views to the glasses apparatus. Accordingly, a newly-connected glasses apparatus may be directly synchronized with a target content view.
Abstract:
A display apparatus and a method. The display apparatus may include a display, an interface configured to be connected with an output terminal of a source device, a main processor configured to control an operation of the display apparatus and a sub-processor configured to identify whether the output terminal of the source device is connected with the interface. The main processor may identify whether the source device is turned on if the display apparatus is in a first state, and the sub-processor may identify whether the source device is turned on if the display apparatus is in a second state. The main processor may control the display to display a UI based on one or more of whether the interface is connected to the output terminal of the source device and whether the source device is turned on.
Abstract:
A remote controller includes a communicator and a processor configured to control the communicator to transmit an identification information request signal to a plurality of electronic apparatuses paired with the remote controller. Based on a signal that includes identification information being received from two or more of the plurality of electronic apparatuses in response to the identification information request signal, the processor controls the communicator to identify a direction of the remote controller based on a direction from which each of the signals is received. The processor causes communication to be performed via an exclusive communication channel between the remote controller and one of the plurality of electronic apparatuses based on the identified direction.
Abstract:
A display apparatus having a sensor and camera and a control method thereof are provided. Exemplary embodiments relate to a display apparatus and a control method thereof which determines through a sensor, such as a pyroelectric infrared ray (PIR) sensor, and a camera, whether a user intends to use the display apparatus, and drives the display apparatus based on the users intentions in order to reduce booting time.
Abstract:
Disclosed are a broadcasting signal receiving apparatus, a remote controller and a pairing method thereof, the pairing method of the remote controller performing bidirectional communication with the broadcasting signal receiving apparatus and including: sensing a key input for a control instruction for controlling the broadcasting signal receiving apparatus, wherein the key input is selected from among a plurality of keys on the remote controller; transmitting a broadcasting signal to the broadcasting signal receiving apparatus, wherein the broadcasting signal corresponds to the key input and includes first identification information of the remote controller; and storing second identification information of the broadcasting signal receiving apparatus received from the broadcasting signal receiving apparatus. Thus, the identification information for performing the RF communication may be transmitted in response to a voluntary selection on the RF remote controller.
Abstract:
A remote control apparatus is disclosed. The remote control apparatus comprises: a microphone; a communication unit; a storage unit for storing pattern information of a non-audible sound for identification of the locality of an external electronic device; and a processor for broadcasting, through the communication unit, information acquired on the basis of an ambient sound received through the microphone, and when a non-audible sound based on broadcasted information output from an electronic device is received through the microphone, comparing a pattern of the received non-audible sound with pattern information stored in the storage unit, and transmitting a pairing request signal to the electronic device on the basis of a comparison result.
Abstract:
An electronic apparatus and a power controlling method thereof are provided. The electronic apparatus may include a wireless communicator that communicates with a remote controller, a wired communicator that connects with an external input device and a processor that controls the wireless communicator to transmit a control signal to the remote controller for turning off power of the connected external input device in response to receiving a signal from the remote controller for turning off power of the electronic apparatus.
Abstract:
A communication interface device is disclosed. The communication interface device includes a plurality of terminals configured to receive a differential signal from an external device, a filter configured to include a low pass filter connected to at least one of the plurality of terminals, and a controller configured to determine whether a differential signal is input from the external device based on a change of an output value of the low pass filter.
