Abstract: A display device includes a first substrate, light emitting elements, a second substrate, and a touch sensor on the second substrate. The touch sensor includes a first touch conductive layer on the second substrate, a touch insulating layer on the first touch conductive layer, and a second touch conductive layer on the touch insulating layer. The first touch conductive layer includes first sub-sensing electrodes, a connecting portion connecting the first sub-sensing electrodes adjacent to each other, and second sub-sensing electrodes. The second touch conductive layer includes a third sub-sensing electrode connected to one of the first sub-sensing electrodes through contact holes passing through the touch insulating layer, and a fourth sub-sensing electrode electrically connected to one of the second sub-sensing electrodes through contact holes passing through the touch insulating layer electrically connecting the second sub-sensing electrodes adjacent to each other.

The first touch conductive layer includes a touch connection electrode connecting adjacent first touch electrodes, and a plurality of capacitance (cap) compensation patterns arranged in the second touch sensor area. The plurality of cap compensation patterns includes a first cap compensation pattern electrically connected to the adjacent first touch electrode and a second cap compensation pattern electrically connected to the adjacent second touch electrode.

Abstract: Provided herein is a display device including a base layer having a non-sensing area and a sensing area configured to surround the non-sensing area, a touch sensor disposed on the sensing area of the base layer, an optical structure disposed on the base layer, and a polarization layer disposed on the touch sensor so as to overlap the sensing area. The touch sensor and the optical structure include a first through hole located in the non-sensing area, and the non-sensing area includes a first area corresponding to the first through hole and a second area configured to surround the first area. The optical structure is disposed in the second area, and includes an optical pattern including a plurality of openings.
