    Abstract: The invention relates to a composition comprising: a) a propylene homopolymer or propylene-ethylene copolymer having an ethylene content of at most 1.5 wt % based on the weight of the propylene-ethylene copolymer, said a propylene homopolymer or propylene-ethylene copolymer having: i) a Mw/Mn in the range of 4.0 to 12, wherein Mw stands for the weight average molecular weight and Mn stands for the number average molecular weight and wherein Mw and Mn are measured according to ASTM D6474-12; ii) an XS in the range from 1.0 to 8.0 wt %, wherein XS stands for the amount of xylene solubles which are measured according to ASTM D 492-10; and iii) a melt flow rate in the range of 1 to 10 dg/minas measured according to ISO1133:2011(2.16 kg/230° C.); b) a first additive, being one or more tocopherols and/or one or more tocotrienols; and c) a second additive, being an organic acid scavenger. The invention moreover relates to a biaxially oriented polypropylene (BOPP) film comprising said composition, to a process for the preparation of a biaxially oriented polypropylene (BOPP) film and to the use of the composition for the preparation of an article, preferably a BOPP film.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to an exterior or semi-exterior automotive part prepared from a thermoplastic composition comprising: from 48-95 wt. % heterophasic propylene copolymer; wherein said heterophasic propylene copolymer consists of i) a propylene-based matrix, and ii) a dispersed ethylene-α-olefin copolymer comprising ethylene and at least one C3 to C10 α-olefin; from 0-20 wt. % ethylene-α-olefin elastomer comprising ethylene and at least one C3 to C10 α-olefin; from 1 up to 30 wt. % high aspect ratio (HAR) talc as a filler; from 0 to 5 wt. % of another talc; from 0.05-1 wt. % phenolic antioxidant additive; from 0.05-1 wt. % amphiphilic protective additive comprising a hydrophilic part and a hydrophobic part; and from 0-3 wt. % additional additives. It moreover relates to a method of producing these and to the use of such a composition for the manufacture of an exterior or semi-exterior part in automotive applications.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to an automotive part (such as an exterior automotive part, a semi-exterior automotive part or an interior automotive part) prepared from a thermoplastic composition comprising: from 48-95 wt. % based on the weight of the composition of a heterophasic propylene copolymer; wherein said heterophasic propylene copolymer consists of i) a propylene-based matrix consisting of a propylene homopolymer and/or a propylene-α-olefin copolymer, said propylene α-olefin copolymer consisting of at least 70 wt. %, and ii) a dispersed ethylene-α-olefin copolymer comprising ethylene and at least one C3 to C10 α-olefin; from 0-20 wt. %, preferably from 1-20 wt. % ethylene-α-olefin elastomer comprising ethylene and a C3 to C10 α-olefin; from 1-30 wt. % high aspect ratio; from 0.05-2 wt. % antioxidant additive selected from the group consisting of i) a tocopherol or a tocotrienol; or ii) a hydroxylamine from 0-3 wt. % an additional additive.
