In addition to reliably protecting the privacy of individuals, it is possible to display a monitoring image from which a congested situation in a facility may be intuitively grasped. The monitoring device of the present disclosure includes first processing unit that performs image processing for reducing identifiability of an object appearing in a captured image on the captured image captured by imaging unit, second processing unit that detects a moving object from the captured image to generate a mask image corresponding to the image area of the moving object, and image output controller that generates and outputs the monitoring image on which the mask image generated by second processing unit is superimposed on the identifiability-reduced image generated by first processing unit.
Abstract:
A person is detected from a moving image of the monitoring area, and position information on the person is acquired. Temporal statistical processing is performed on the position information, statistical information relating to a staying situation of the person is acquired in accordance with setting of a target period of time for the statistical processing, and thus a heat map moving image is generated. Furthermore, a mask image corresponding to a person image area is generated at every predetermined point in time based on the position information on the person. A monitoring moving image that results from superimposing the heat map image and the mask image onto a background image is generated and is output at every predetermined point in time.

A person counting device is provided to count the number of persons passing through a counting area set in a monitoring area, and includes: a counting condition setter that sets a non-walkable area and the counting area; a traffic line acquirer that acquires a traffic line for each person; a passing-person counter that counts the number of persons passing through the counting area based on the traffic line; a traffic line determinator that determines whether or not the traffic line passes through the non-walkable area; a correction area selector that estimates the counting area existing on an avoidance route that does not pass through the non-walkable area based on the state of the traffic line, and selects the counting area as a correction target; and a passing-person counting corrector that corrects the number of passing persons with regard to the counting area selected as the correction target.

The background image generator generates the background image by performing image processing for reducing discriminability of the moving object appearing in the captured image on the captured image.
