    Abstract: Disclosed is a method comprising transmitting, by a terminal device, to a network node providing a target cell, a request message requesting an uplink positioning reference signal configuration for uplink positioning reference signal transmission in the target cell, wherein the request message is transmitted in a radio resource control inactive state, while in a source cell; receiving, by the terminal device, from the network node, a message indicative of the uplink positioning reference signal configuration; and transmitting, by the terminal device, one or more uplink positioning reference signal transmissions based at least partly on the uplink positioning reference signal configuration.

    Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to sidelink positioning session establishment. In an aspect, a terminal device obtains session information associated with a first sidelink positioning session, and determines, based on the session information, difference information between the first sidelink positioning session and a second sidelink positioning session in which the terminal device is a target device. The terminal device transmits a positioning request for determining at least one anchor device to perform the second sidelink positioning session, wherein the positioning request comprises the difference information. The terminal device performs the second sidelink positioning session with the at least one anchor device. The embodiments of the present disclosure can immediately activate the target device in an efficient manner with reduced signaling overhead and latency.

    Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to apparatuses, methods, and computer readable storage media for monitoring performance of channel classification. A first apparatus transmits a discovery request for device discovery via sidelink communication. The first apparatus receives, from at least one candidate device, at least one respective discovery response comprising a location information status of a corresponding one of the at least one candidate device. The first apparatus transmits a candidate device list with the location information status to a second apparatus for localizing the first apparatus. In this way, both a target UE and a located UE with expired location can be efficiently localized without degradation in an achievable localization accuracy.
