    Abstract: A mobile equipment comprising means for: determining to attempt to create a unicast sidelink communication channel between the mobile equipment and an identified target user equipment via a relay user equipment; and sending a relay request message to at least one user equipment, operable as a relay to the target user equipment, wherein the relay request message comprises at least some information for configuring a sidelink process to obtain feedback from the target user equipment. Mobile equipment comprising means for: receiving a relay request message from a source user equipment, the relay request message comprising at least some information for configuring a sidelink process to obtain feedback from the target user equipment; and sending a message to a target user equipment using the configured process, wherein the message is configured for the configured process according to the received information for configuring the sidelink process to obtain feedback from a target user equipment; and sending a relay response message to the source user equipment that is indicative of an outcome of the configured process between the mobile equipment and the target user equipment.

    Abstract: A method may include initiating, by a transmitter user equipment, a hybrid automatic repeat request process for groupcasting a transport block over seedbank to one or more relay user equipment and at least one remote user equipment. The method may also include performing a first groupcast transmission of the transport block using the hybrid repeat request process. A device may transmit an allocation of transmission resource(s) associated with a second acknowledgement mode.     Abstract: An ARQ system for sidelink communication between transmitter and receiver, with the help of cooperative UE, or relay UE is disclosed. The relay intercepts the initial transmission from transmitter to receiver. If the relay does not intercept any ARQ feedback from the receiver (DTX), it retransmits the initial transmission. Upon receiving at least the Sidelink Control Information, SCI, identifying the retransmission, the transmitter terminates the HARQ process, assuming that the relay is now in charge of the retransmission. Upon reception of the retransmission, the receiver feeds back an HARQ ACK to the relay and the transmitter. If the receiver correctly receives the initial transmission, it feeds back an HARQ ACK to the relay and the transmitter and both relay and transmitter stop the HARQ process. If the relay does not successfully receive the initial transmission, it feds back a NACK to the transmitter which performs retransmission to the relay.

    Abstract: The present invention provides apparatuses, methods, systems, computer programs, computer program products and computer-readable media for reducing overhead for Quality-of-service (QoS) monitoring of vehicle-to-everything (V2X) services. The method comprises receiving, at a user equipment, from a serving network, a request for a Quality-of-Service (QoS) monitoring session, making a first determination, at the user equipment, whether the user equipment is relevant for the request, based on the content of the request, making a second determination, at the user equipment, if it is determined in the first determination that the user equipment is relevant, whether the request is received in dedicated signaling or common signaling, deciding, at the user equipment, whether or not to initiate the requested QoS monitoring session based on the second determination.
