The present invention includes displaying a preview image captured through a camera, obtaining an input for selecting an object from the displayed preview image, determining a smart zoom magnification for the selected object to be displayed in an optimal size, zoom-processing the preview image at the determined smart zoom magnification centering on the selected object, and displaying the zoom-processed preview image.

The present invention relates to a mobile terminal capable of executing various controls related to a folder which manages applications installed at the mobile terminal in an integrated manner, and a control method thereof. The mobile terminal includes a touch screen; and a controller configured to control the mobile terminal based on a touch input applied to the touch screen, wherein the controller controls the touch screen such that at least one icon corresponding to at least one application included in a folder is displayed, in response to a first touch applied to a folder image of the folder in a state where the folder image has been displayed on the touch screen, and wherein the controller controls the touch screen such that screen information related to functions of the applications included in the folder is output, in response to a second touch applied to a predetermined region in a state where the at least one icon has been displayed.

The present invention is related to a watch-type mobile terminal and a method for controlling the watch-type mobile terminal. In case a call is received, the present invention can respond to an incoming call in an automatic answering mode due to an agent through a watch-type mobile terminal worn by the user on his/her wrist. In case the user searches for a paired external electronic device and attempts call conversation, the automatic answering mode due to an agent can be terminated. Accordingly, in case the user is unable to promptly respond to a received call through the paired external electronic device, the received call can be efficiently controlled through the watch-type mobile terminal.

Disclosed are a mobile terminal and a method for controlling the same. The mobile terminal includes a touch screen disposed at a first side of the mobile terminal and configured to display information; and a controller configured to: divide the touch screen into a plurality of regions corresponding to a first function in response to a touch drag starting from a preset point on the first side, wherein the plurality of regions correspond to a plurality of sub-menus of the first function; execute the first function according to a sub-menu corresponding to a region where the touch drag is released; and cause the touch screen to display an execution screen of the executed first function according to the sub-menu to at least part of the touch screen.
