Abstract:
An image forming apparatus includes an ink container, a tube, a joint, a tray, and a handle. The ink container stores ink to be supplied to an inkjet head. The tube connects the ink container and the inkjet head. The joint is provided at one end of the tube and is removably connected to a discharge port of the ink container. The tray is inserted into and removed from a storage portion along a pull-out direction, and the ink container is placed with the discharge port facing toward the front in the pull-out direction. The handle is provided on a surface of the tray on the front side in the pull-out direction. The handle is arranged rearward of the tube or the joint in the pull-out direction in a state in which the ink container is stored in the storage portion and the joint is connected to the discharge port.
Abstract:
A maintenance device has a maintenance unit. The maintenance unit has a blade unit to which a plurality of wiping blades are fixed, a wiper carriage to which the blade unit is attached, and a support frame that supports the wiper carriage. The wiper carriage has a stationary portion with a sliding roller, a movable portion with a positioning roller, and an elastic member. The elastic member elastically supports the movable portion relative to the stationary portion, and elastically contracts, when the maintenance unit is pressed against a plurality of recording heads by a unit ascent-descent mechanism with an excessive pressing force stronger than a predetermined pressing force, by receiving the reaction force of the excessive pressing force.
Abstract:
An image forming apparatus includes a body, a photoreceptor unit, and a developing unit. The developing unit includes a first attaching/detaching lever that moves a developing sleeve from a first position to a second position by lifting the first attaching/detaching lever. The photoreceptor unit includes a second attaching/detaching lever that moves the developing sleeve from the first position to the second position by lifting the second attaching/detaching lever. The photoreceptor unit and the developing unit move the developing sleeve to the second position by lifting the first or second attaching/detaching lever so that the photoreceptor unit and the developing unit are individually detached from the body.
Abstract:
An image forming unit includes: a photoconductive drum; a charging member extending in a direction along a rotary shaft of the photoconductive drum; and a holding member holding the charging member at a frame member. While held at the frame member with the holding member in between, the charging member is arranged in parallel to the photoconductive drum in contact with a circumferential surface of the photoconductive drum with their rotary shafts in parallel. The holding member and the frame member respectively have interference-preventing-shaped parts provided at a tip part of the holding member in a direction where the holding member is attached and at a position of the frame member receiving the holding member. The interference-preventing-shaped parts are capable of first making contact with each other upon attachment of the charging member to the frame member to thereby prevent interference between the holding member and the photoconductive drum.
Abstract:
An image forming apparatus includes an apparatus main body, a housing, a photosensitive drum, a cleaning blade, a contact portion, and a contacted portion. The housing and drum are disposed in an internal space of the main body. The blade is a plate-shaped elastic member extending in an axial direction of a rotational axis of the drum, is supported by the housing, and contacts a circumferential surface of the drum for cleaning. The contact portion is disposed opposite the housing in the main body. The contacted portion is disposed at a center portion, in the axial direction, of the housing and is contacted by the contact portion. A position of the center portion, in the axial direction, of the housing is adjusted in a cross section intersecting the axial direction by the housing being inserted into the internal space and the contact portion coming into contact with the contacted portion.
