Abstract: Example communication methods and apparatus are described. In one example method, a terminal receives a first information by using a serving beam, where the first information indicates a delay compensation parameter corresponding to a target beam. The target beam and the serving beam are different beams. The terminal determines, based on a full timing advance and the delay compensation parameter corresponding to the target beam, a differential timing advance corresponding to the target beam.

Abstract: The disclosure provides transmission methods and apparatuses. One example includes sending control signaling to a terminal device, to indicate the terminal device to send a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) on a first frequency band; and receiving the PUSCH sent by the terminal device on the first frequency band. The first frequency band includes at least one guard subcarrier. A quantity of the at least one guard subcarrier is determined based on a Doppler frequency shift of a beam covering the terminal device. The first frequency band is located on a frequency band corresponding to the beam.

Abstract: This application provides a communication method and apparatus, and relates to the field of communication technologies. According to the method, the terminal device determines a location of an NTN device in an NTN. The method includes: A network device sends system information to the terminal device. The system information includes a location parameter of a non-terrestrial network NTN device, and the system information is used to indicate time information of the location parameter.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to access methods and apparatuses. In one example method, a terminal device determines, based on whether a first frequency offset parameter is in a frequency offset parameter range, whether to access a first cell. If the first frequency offset parameter is in the frequency offset parameter range, a current location of the terminal device is not at an edge of the cell. Otherwise, the current location of the terminal device may be at the edge of the cell.

Abstract: A communication method and a communication apparatus are provided. The method includes: A first device receives first information, determines a target TR pattern based on the first information, and sends information or demodulates received information based on the target TR pattern, where the target TR pattern is a sub-pattern of a longest TR pattern, and the longest TR pattern includes a set of sub-carriers used as reserved tones. The longest TR pattern may include a plurality of TR sub-patterns of different lengths. For example, a first TR pattern of a first length is a sub-pattern of the longest TR pattern, and a second TR pattern of a second length is also a subset of the longest TR pattern. The TR sub-patterns of different lengths may correspond to different carrier bandwidths or quantities of RBs.

Abstract: Example random access methods and apparatus are described. In one example, the network device obtains a first random access preamble length of a first terminal device and a second random access preamble length of a second terminal device. The network device determines a first random access parameter of the first terminal device and a second random access parameter of the second terminal device based on the first random access preamble length and the second random access preamble length. The network device sends the first random access parameter and the second random access parameter to the first terminal device and the second terminal device respectively.

Abstract: This application provides example satellite communication methods and example apparatuses. One example method includes receiving, by a terminal device, first information sent by a satellite, where the first information indicates a first timing change rate range. The terminal device can then measure a downlink timing change rate to obtain a first downlink timing change rate. The terminal device can then determine a first uplink timing change rate based on the first downlink timing change rate and the first timing change rate range. The terminal device can then perform uplink communication with the satellite based on the first uplink timing change rate.

Abstract: Embodiments of this application relate to the field of communication technologies, and provide a timing offset parameter update method, a device, and a system, to help reduce signaling overheads when a terminal device updates a value of a timing offset parameter. The method includes: A terminal device obtains a timing advance adjustment variation corresponding to the terminal device, where the timing advance adjustment variation is a difference between a timing advance adjustment amount currently used by the terminal device and a timing advance adjustment amount used at a previous moment. The terminal device determines whether an absolute value of the timing advance adjustment variation is greater than or equal to a first threshold. If the absolute value is greater than or equal to the first threshold, the terminal device sends, to a network device, first indication information used to indicate an update regularity of a timing offset parameter.
