    Abstract: A method to reduce a probability of occurrence of a hidden node in a data transmission process in a high-frequency system is disclosed. The method implemented by a communications apparatus includes determining at least one beam to be used for sending a resource reservation message, where the at least one beam includes a first beam, where a direction of the first beam is opposite to a direction of a second beam, and where the direction of the second beam is a potential transmission direction in which the communications apparatus sends information. The method further includes sending the resource reservation message by using the at least one beam, where the resource reservation message includes a resource reservation request message or a resource reservation response message, where the resource reservation request message is used to request to reserve a transmission resource, and where the resource reservation response message is used to determine to reserve a transmission resource.

    Abstract: A system information updating method, a user equipment and a base station are provided, the method including: receiving, by the wake-up radio (WUR) interface of the user equipment, a wake-up signal sent by the base station, where the wake-up signal is used to wake up a main radio interface of the user equipment and instruct the main radio interface of the user equipment to receive updated system information, the wake-up signal includes system information (SI) update transmission control information, and the SI update transmission control information includes information required for receiving the updated system information; waking up, by the WUR interface of the user equipment, the main radio interface of the user equipment; and receiving, by the user equipment according to the SI update transmission control information through the woken-up main radio interface, the updated system information sent by the base station.

    Abstract: A method for indicating a frame structure in a wireless local area network (WLAN) is provided. A sending device generates a transmission frame. The transmission frame includes a physical header. The physical header includes a frame structure indication. A subcarrier polarity of the frame structure indication is used to indicate a frame structure of the transmission frame. The sending device sends the transmission frame to a receiving device. In the transmission frame, a first subcarrier polarity indicates the transmission frame has a first frame structure, in which the physical header includes a field and a time domain repetition of the field; and a second subcarrier polarity indicates the transmission frame has a second frame structure, in which the physical header includes the field but does not include the time domain repetition of the field. The frame structure indication is an orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) symbol.
