Abstract: This application relates to the field of wireless communication, and in particular, to individually addressed traffic indication methods and apparatuses applicable to multiple links, for example, in a wireless local area network supporting an 802.11be standard. In an example method, a first access point (AP) of a first access point multi-link device (AP MLD) generates and sends individually addressed traffic indication information. The individually addressed traffic indication information is used to indicate whether a non-AP MLD associated with the first AP MLD has a downlink individually addressed traffic and whether a non-AP MLD associated with a second AP MLD has a downlink individually addressed traffic. The second AP MLD is an AP MLD to which a non-transmitted AP belongs. The non-transmitted AP is in a multiple basic service set identifier (BSSID) set in which the first AP is located.

Abstract: This application relates to the field of wireless communication, in particular, to a beacon frame transmission method in an EMLSR mode, and is applied to a wireless local area network supporting the 802.11be standard. A TXOP holder sends a first frame before a first delay prior to a next TBTT, where the first frame indicates TXOP termination on a first link. The first delay is used by an EMLSR non-AP MLD to change a spatial stream on a second link to a state supporting beacon frame reception on the second link. The non-AP MLD changes, within the first delay after the TXOP termination on the first link, a spatial stream on the second link to supporting successful beacon frame reception on the second link, and receives a beacon frame by using a spatial stream currently supported on the second link at the next TBTT.

Abstract: Embodiments of this application provide a multi-link communication method and a multi-link device. Abstract: This application provides methods and apparatus for sending feedback information. By binding a BAR-BA feedback manner, that is, first a request and then a feedback, when it is determined that data retransmission is performed by using a hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) mechanism, duration of an acknowledgment operation performed by a data receive end on retransmitted data may be increased. Alternatively, the receive end estimates duration required for feeding back a receiving status of the retransmitted data, and feeds back the duration to a transmit end. The transmit end may therefore adaptively adjust duration of the retransmitted data based on a feedback capability of the receive end, to ensure that the feedback of the receive end on the receiving status of the retransmitted data is within a short inter-frame space (SIFS).
