Abstract: Generation of a 3D model in accordance with a user's desire is enabled. A model generation unit generates 2D or 3D model parts from extracted original parts. These model parts have been applied with relative exaggeration relative to another subject person or a background. If the user has selected a subject person of which a default part is modified, among subject persons of which the original parts have been extracted, via an operation unit, a model adjustment unit accepts selection of a modification menu item and a part desired to be modified, via the operation unit. If the part desired to be modified is selected, the part is modified or replaced depending on the selected menu item and on an input to the operation unit or a touch panel. A character generation unit generates a character with the modified part (with the default part if no modification is performed).
