Abstract:
Systems, methods, and computer-readable media for virtual workload orchestration. In some embodiments, a first cloud provider can obtain a virtual machine image and convert the virtual machine image to a virtual image format based on an environment associated with a second cloud provider. Next, the first cloud provider can provision a guest operating system associated with the virtual machine image with one or more drivers based on the hypervisor associated with the second cloud provider to yield a converted and provisioned virtual machine image. The first cloud provider can then transmit the converted and provisioned virtual machine image to the second cloud provider to be registered as a template virtual machine at the second cloud provider.
Abstract:
Systems, methods, and computer-readable media provide for secure access to virtual machines in heterogeneous cloud environments. In an example embodiment, client credentials, such as a public key of a public-private key pair, are provided to a virtual machine in a first cloud, such as a private cloud. The virtual machine can be migrated from the first cloud to a second cloud, such as one of a plurality of heterogeneous public clouds. The virtual machine in the second cloud can be accessed from the first cloud via Secure Shell (SSH) authentication using the client credentials. The client credentials can be updated, and the updated client credentials can be used for subsequent SSH access to the virtual machine in the second cloud.
Abstract:
In one embodiment, a request may be received from a first cloud network of a hybrid cloud environment to transmit data to a second cloud network of the hybrid cloud environment, wherein the request can include a security profile related to the data. The security profile may be automatically analyzed to determine access permissions related to the data. Based at least in part on the access permissions, data can be allowed to access to the second cloud network.

Abstract:
Example embodiments disclosed herein can provide for receiving a compute request for migrating an application from a source environment to a target cloud, determining a configured option of a first resource associated with the application, and determining at least one solution in the target cloud for the application. The solution is based, at least in part, on the configured option. In more specific embodiments, when the configured option indicates the first resource is splittable, a number of second instances of a solution in the target cloud is greater than a number of first instances in the source environment. In further more specific embodiments, when the configured option indicates the first resource is mergeable, a number of second instances of a solution in the target cloud is less than the number of first instances in the source environment.
