摘要： An apparatus, for discharging a liquid through a head based on a first discharge instruction, is configured to: update a liquid amount V stored in the memory with a value equivalent to the amount of liquid instructed to be discharged by the first discharge instruction; determine whether the updated liquid amount V is equal to or larger a threshold amount; update the liquid amount V stored in a memory to a predetermined value in response to determining that the updated liquid amount V is equal to or larger than the threshold amount and receiving a second signal from the liquid level sensor; and prohibit the liquid from being discharged through the head in response to determining that the updated liquid amount V is less than the threshold amount and receiving the first signal from the liquid level sensor.

The controller is configured to: execute a first determination process to determine whether a user is near the inkjet recording apparatus; and execute, after determination in the first determination process that the user is near the inkjet recording apparatus, a notification process to control the display to display a notification screen when the quantity of ink stored in the ink chamber is not less than a residual ink threshold. The notification screen prompts the user to check the quantity of ink stored in the ink chamber.

摘要： In an inkjet printing apparatus, a controller causes a scanner to read an image formed on an original in response to reception of a copy instruction and generates image data representing the read image. The controller determines a standby period in response to reception of the copy instruction. In response to elapse of the standby period since the reception of the copy instruction, the controller separates a cap and an inkjet head. After the cap and the inkjet head separated each other and completion of reading at least part of the image on the original, the controller causes the recording head to eject ink droplets based on the image data.
