Abstract: A document presenting method includes: determining, in response to an icon display triggering operation for a first parent-child structure in document, whether the first parent-child structure include child content, where the icon display triggering operation is used to trigger display of a target folding icon; displaying the child content in the first parent-child structure and displaying the target folding icon, in response to determining that the child content is present in the first parent-child structure; and hiding the child content in the first parent-child structure in response to a triggering operation for the target folding icon.
