Abstract: A computer implemented technique for developing a behaviour tool to estimate a behaviour of a particular person in response to a given situation, comprises maintaining, in a storage device, digital memories and a record of associations between the digital memories, where a given digital memory is generated in response to a given event associated with the particular person and is determined from analysis of multiple items of data associated with the given event, including at least items of personal data derived from signals gathered from a plurality of sensors used to monitor the particular person. Processing circuitry is then employed to analyse the digital memories and the record of associations between the digital memories, in order to generate a digital twin of the particular person comprising one or more personalised cognitive models, each personalised cognitive model being arranged to emulate an associated cognitive skill of the particular person. At least one of the one or more personalised cognitive models forming the digital twin is then output for incorporation within the behaviour tool so as to cause the estimated behaviour of the particular person in response to the given situation to be influenced, at least in part, by model output data generated by the at least one of the one or more personalised cognitive models.

Abstract: A technique is provided for creating digital memories for a particular person. A data store stores personal data derived from signals gathered from a plurality of sensors that monitor the particular person. Memories creation processing circuitry, responsive to detection of a given event associated with the particular person, performs an augmentation process to generate an augmented given event identifying multiple items of data associated with the given event, including personal data associated with the given event obtained from the data store. The memories creation processing circuitry analyses the multiple items of data identified by the augmented given event in order to generate a given digital memory for the given event. A memories data store stores digital memories generated by the memories creation processing circuitry for the particular person, and memories analysis circuitry determines and maintains associations between the digital memories in the memories data store. Digital twin creation circuitry may then develop cognitive skills via analysis of the digital memories and their associations, for use in assisting the particular person.

Abstract: There is disclosed a method of establishing trust between an agent device and a verification apparatus, the method comprising: obtaining, at the agent device, a trust credential, wherein the trust credential relates to an aspect of the agent device and comprises authentication information for identifying at least one party trusted by the verification apparatus and/or device data relating to the agent device; transmitting, from the agent device to the verification apparatus, the trust credential; obtaining, at the verification apparatus, the trust credential; analysing, at the verification apparatus, the trust credential; determining, at the verification apparatus, whether the agent device is trusted based on the analysis; and responsive to determining the agent device is trusted, establishing trust between the agent device and the verification apparatus.

Abstract: Provided is a digital/analog signal processing apparatus and method for controlling exposure of personally identifiable information to be transferred from storage in a secure enclave, comprising a memory and an integrated circuit coupled to the memory, configured to: select a data set stored in the storage; individuate personally identifiable information in the data set; determine an individual person's subset of personally identifiable information; extract an identifier for the individual person from the subset; interrogate stored data using the identifier to locate metadata comprising permission to expose the individual person's subset; and responsive to a failure to locate the metadata comprising permission, either: emit a signal seeking the permission; or apply a protective measure to the individual person's subset of individuated personally identifiable information prior to transfer of the data set in a digital/analog signal outside the secure enclave.
