Abstract: A user equipment (UE) and a network node can support sounding reference signals (SRS) based antenna beam pair selection for simultaneous uplink transmission with multi-panels by the UE. One or more antenna beam pairs of a UE having a first antenna panel and a second antenna panel may be used to transmit SRSs to a first transmission reception point (TRP) and a second TRP simultaneously using SRS resources configured by one or more SRS configuration sets from the network node. The UE can configure a SRS spatial filter for a SRS resource to indicate a direction of an antenna beam, while some of the SRS resource is configured by the one or more SRS configuration sets received from the network node. The network node can select an antenna beam pair among the one or more antenna beam pairs based on indications of signal strength of SRSs received.

Abstract: Embodiments are disclosed for enhanced layer 3 (L3) measurement reporting that supports L3 measurement assisted group-based beam reporting (GBBR). Some embodiments include a user equipment (UE) that can receive a first reference signal from a network at a first angle of arrival (AoA), and receive a second reference signal from the network at a second AoA. The UE can perform L3 measurements on the first reference signal and the second reference signal, and generate and transmit to the network, an enhanced L3 measurement report that includes L3 measurements as well as: a corresponding identity of an antenna panel of the UE; bits that correlate an antenna panel with a respective L3 measurements, or an implication that the L3 measurements in the enhanced L3 measurement report correspond to different antenna panels. The UE can receive simultaneous downlink transmissions from the network that are based on the enhanced L3 measurement report.

The relaxed evaluation period is longer than a normal evaluation period without relaxing the evaluation.

Abstract: Some embodiments include a system, method, and computer program product for radio resource management (RRM) scaling factor enhancement without measurement gaps (MGs) in an E-UTRA-New Radio (NR) Dual Connectivity (EN-DC) network. Some embodiments include a user equipment (UE) that receives from a Primary Node (PN), a first NR measurement object (MO) without MG associated with a frequency. The UE receives from a Secondary Node (SN), a second NR MO without MG associated with the same frequency. Some embodiments include combining counts of NR MO without MG at a same frequency. Some embodiments include coordination between the PN and the SN so that MOs without MG at a common frequency satisfy the merging rule.
