Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed which facilitate providing a marketplace for acquisition of service images to be executed in a hosted computing environment. Service image providers submit service images for inclusion in the service image marketplace. Providers may further specify pricing and usage conditions associated with the service images. Customers browse and select service images for hosting on either the marketplace hosted computing environment, or an alternate hosted computing environment. If necessary, customers may submit payment information. The service image marketplace may monitor usage of hosted service images and bill customers according to use.

Abstract: A speech recognition platform configured to receive an audio signal that includes speech from a user and perform automatic speech recognition (ASR) on the audio signal to identify ASR results. The platform may identify: (i) a domain of a voice command within the speech based on the ASR results and based on context information associated with the speech or the user, and (ii) an intent of the voice command. In response to identifying the intent, the platform may perform a corresponding action, such as streaming audio to the device, setting a reminder for the user, purchasing an item on behalf of the user, making a reservation for the user or launching an application for the user. The speech recognition platform, in combination with the device, may therefore facilitate efficient interactions between the user and a voice-controlled device.

Abstract: An electronic service image marketplace for service images is provided that permits users to browse descriptions of service images implementing desired functionalities of a virtual machine image. The described service images may be further offered for purchase through the electronic service image marketplace. An operational data service, in communication with the electronic service image marketplace, may collect operational data from a plurality of host computing devices executing the selected service image. The operational data service may further analyze the collected operational data to obtain an aggregate measure of operational data for the selected service image when executed by host computing devices. The analyzed operational data may be further provided to the electronic service image marketplace for display within the description of the selected service image. Notifications may be further provided to a user of a selected service image based upon a comparison of the analyzed operational data to operational data of the selected service image.
