Abstract: A system and method for facilitating dynamic biometric measurement is disclosed. In particular, the system may include a garment to be worn on the body of the user. The garment may include a flexible circuit upon which a plurality of sensor arrays and a processing unit may be disposed upon. Once activated, the sensors of the plurality of sensor arrays may continuously measure sensor data associated with the user, such as when the user is at rest and when the user in motion. The sensors may transmit signals including the sensor data to the processing unit for aggregation, processing, and filtration. The processing unit may also analyze the sensor data to determine a physiological condition of the user, a health condition of the user, a state of the user, or a combination thereof. The analyzed sensor data may be transmitted to a device for presentation, further processing, and storage.

Abstract: An intelligent wearable device is disclosed. The intelligent wearable device is configured to monitor and obtain biological data associated with a user wearing the device and environmental data associated with an environment that the user is located in through the use of a plurality of sensors of the wearable device. Once the biological and environmental data are obtained, the intelligent wearable device may compare the data to a threshold value that is associated with the safety of the user. If the comparison indicates that the data is outside the threshold value, the intelligent wearable device may output a signal indicating that the user is experiencing an event. The intelligent wearable device may also generate feedback indicating an action to perform in response to the event. The intelligent wearable device may notify devices associated with other users, who may be able to assist the user experiencing the event.

Abstract: A flexible circuit may be provided that allows for the monitoring of a physical object. The flexible circuit includes a plurality of flexible conductive segments that are disposed in a geometric pattern. The flexible conductive segments include nodes, and the physical object is monitored by analyzing changes in electrical resistance in the conductive segments between the nodes. The flexible circuit may also include sensors disposed on the nodes for monitoring additional conditions. A processor monitors the flexible conductive segments and sensors, and may provide an output regarding the status of the physical object.

Abstract: A system for providing powerline communication over flexible mesh for circuit design used in biometric monitoring is disclosed. In particular, the system provides for the transmission of power and data over the same circuit infrastructure, and integrates the ability to transfer data over an infrastructure that also transmits power. Notably, the system facilitates the integration of data over power in flexible systems, such as systems incorporating flexible mesh sensors and flexible geometric systems. The dual use of power infrastructure reduces weight and increases flexibility and potential sensor density. The systems use of data over power significantly reduces or eliminates the needs for a standalone data bus, thereby reducing the design complexity of the circuit.

Abstract: Pill pack packaging that monitors and reports on pill compliance is disclosed. The pill pack packaging includes a circuit disposed on the cover of pill receptacles. A processor monitors the changes in electrical signals from the circuit. When the electrical signals change, the processor records the time and date. The processor may also report the time and date of pill receptacle opening to a mobile device via wireless transmission. The device may also be capable of providing alerts regarding lack of compliance or loss of the pill pack.

Abstract: A motion monitoring system includes a wearable monitoring device configured to be worn on a human body that includes a body part. The wearable monitoring device is deformable with movement of the body part. The wearable monitoring device includes a sensor system configured to deform with movement of the body part. The sensor system is configured to detect deformation occurring with movement of the body part. Furthermore, the motion monitoring system includes a user device that is in communication with the wearable monitoring device. The user device is capable of receiving data from the sensor system that corresponds to the detected deformation occurring with movement of the body part.
