    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications at a user equipment (UE) are described. Techniques are described herein for performing out-of-order processing. The UE may receive a first downlink channel at a first time and a second downlink channel at a second time. The UE may determine that a priority of the second downlink channel is different (e.g., higher) than a priority of the first downlink channel. The UE may determine that a first uplink transmission associated with the first downlink channel is to be transmitted after a second uplink transmission associated with the second channel based on the different priorities. The UE may set one or more operations based on these determinations. In some cases, the UE may suspend processing the of the first downlink channel to process the second downlink channel.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A method for wireless communication at a user equipment (UE) may include: receiving a multicast bandwidth part configuration for multicast communications between a base station and the UE, where the multicast bandwidth part configuration includes a maximum number of multiple-input, multiple-output layers to be used for the multicast communications; establishing a multicast link with the base station for multicast communications; determining to use a reduced number of antennas for multicast reception than the number of antennas used for unicast reception, or determining that the UE is able to decode the multicast communications prior to a remaining portion of the multicast communications; and receiving the multicast communications via the reduced number of antennas, or reducing the radio frequency power prior to completion of a number of repetitions or retransmissions of the multicast communications.

A communication device, such as a user equipment (UE) may monitor a pre-wakeup window during an inactive duration of a multicast discontinuous reception (DRX) cycle that includes multiple active durations and multiple inactive durations. The UE may receive, in the pre-wakeup window, a wakeup signal that indicates a quantity of the active durations in the multicast DRX cycle that the UE is to monitor and the UE may monitor the indicated quantity of active durations for multicast signals for the UE.

    Abstract: Wireless communications systems and methods related to channel occupancy management for new radio side-link supporting star topology of user equipment devices are provided. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) determines a communication resources pool including a channel occupancy ratio (CR) gap of each UE of a plurality of UEs in communication with the first UE, a CR gap of each UE representing a difference between a CR limit of that UE and a CR of that UE, The UE also can communicate, to a second UE of the plurality of UEs, a first CR command configured to allow the second UE to access a first portion of the communication resources pool. In some aspects, an amount of the first portion can be different from an amount of the CR gap of the second UE in the communication resources pool.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. The method, system, or devices for wireless communications may implement receiving a grant for a first transmission scheduled for a first set of resources, the first transmission associated with a first transmission parameter; receiving an indication to cancel the first transmission; dropping the first transmission based on receiving the indication; determining a second transmission parameter for a second transmission based on the first transmission parameter and irrespective of dropping the first transmission; and performing or receiving the second transmission according to the second transmission parameter.     Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods, and devices for wireless communication that support reduced bandwidth devices and particularly, allocation of more than three orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) symbols in the time domain to a control resource set (CORESET). In a first aspect, a method for wireless communication includes receiving, from a base station at a user equipment (UE), a first message that indicates a CORESET configuration. The CORESET configuration allocates more than three OFDM symbols in the time domain to a CORESET. The method further includes monitoring a set of time and frequency resources to receive a second message from the base station at the UE. The set of time and frequency resources have the CORESET configuration. Other aspects and features are also claimed and described.
