Abstract:
A method for receiving a multimedia broadcast multicast service (MBMS) by a user equipment (UE) in a wireless communication system, the method comprising acquiring, by the UE, a predetermined system information block (SIB) from a base station (BS); and upon acquiring the predetermined SIB, transmitting an MBMS interest indication message by the UE to the BS. The predetermined SIB includes information related to MBMS service continuity. Whether the transmitting of the MBMS interest indication message is allowed is provided to the UE through the predetermined SIB.
Abstract:
A method of processing a Long Term Evolution (LTE) Multimedia Broadcast Multicast Service (MBMS) message by a network in a wireless communication system, the method including transmitting a system information block (SIB) including information on a Multimedia Broadcast multicast service Single Frequency Network (MBSFN) area list through a broadcast control channel (BCCH) to a user equipment (UE); transmitting a first LTE MBMS message including information on one or more services through a multicast control channel (MCCH) to the UE; and receiving a second LTE MBMS message indicating a specific area corresponding to an area of the MBSFN area list and a specific service from the UE in response to the first LTE MBMS message, the UE wishing to receive the specific service of the one or more services or being interested to receive the specific service of the one or more services.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method of performing a user plane integrity protection (UPIP) based on data volume by a user equipment (UE) in a wireless communication system. Especially, the method includes the steps of activating an integrity protection for a radio bearer (RB): receiving a Packet Data Convergence Protocol (PDCP) data unit related to the RB from an upper layer; and transmitting the PDCP data unit via the RB to a reception end, with applying the integrity protection to the PDCP data unit, wherein, based on a data volume of the PDCP data being greater than a data volume threshold, applying the integrity protection is skipped.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method of transmitting a Scheduling Request (SR) based on a time Alignment Timer (TAT) by a user equipment (UE) in a wireless communication system. In particular, the method includes the steps of receiving information related to a time Alignment Timer (TAT) for a Timing Advance Group (TAG) to which a serving cell belongs; starting the TAT for the TAG; based on a data packet to be transmitted via the serving cell being received from an upper layer, determining a difference time between a time point of a first available SR resource in SR resource configuration for the TAG and an expected expiring time of the TAT; based on the difference time being greater than a threshold, transmitting a SR for the data packet on the first available SR resource to a network, wherein, based on the difference time being less than the threshold, a random access (RA) procedure is triggered.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method of transmitting a buffer status report (BSR) by a wireless node in a wireless communication system. In particular, the method includes the steps of: receiving first logical channel group (LCG) configuration information including identities of LCGs from a network; generating the BSR including a LCG field; and transmitting the BSR to the network, wherein a length of the LCG field is configured according to a highest value of the identities of LCGs.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method of performing data transmission by a user equipment (UE) in a radio resource control (RRC) INACTIVE state at a wireless communication system. Especially, the method includes the steps of upon a reception of a Packet Data Convergence Protocol (PDCP) service data unit (SDU) from an upper layer, starting a discard timer related to the PDCP SDU; generating a medium access control (MAC) protocol data unit (PDU) including the PDCP SDU; starting a random access (RA) procedure for transmitting the MAC PDU; and based on the discard timer expiring before the RA procedure is completed, stopping the RA procedure.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for master cell group (MCG) radio link failure (RLF) reporting during secondary cell group (SCG) suspension in a wireless communication system is provided. A wireless device detects a failure on a master cell group (MCG) while a secondary cell group (SCG) is suspended, and transmits MCG failure information informing the failure on the MCG by using a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) format via the SCG, based on unavailability of physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) transmission via the SCG.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method of transmitting a Time Alignment Timer (TAT) status report by a user equipment (UE) in a wireless communication system. Especially, the method includes the steps of configuring one or more Timing Advance Groups (TAGs); receiving a Timing Advance Command (TAC) for one of the one or more TAGs; starting a TAT for the one TAG; triggering the TAT status report when a remaining time of the TAT for the one TAG is less than a threshold for the one TAG; and transmitting the TAT status report to a network, wherein the TAT status report includes a first type indication indicating that the remaining time of the TAT for the one TAG is less than the threshold.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method of performing a Random Access (RA) procedure in a user equipment (UE) in a wireless communication system. Especially, the method includes the steps of configuring at least one first bandwidth part (BWP) on which the RA procedure is performed for transmitting data in a Radio Resource Control (RRC) INACTIVE state; configuring a second BWP on which the RA procedure is performed for shifting to a RRC CONNECTED state from the RRC INACTIVE state; performing the RA procedure on the at least one first BWP when the UE determines to transmit the data in the RRC INACTIVE state; and performing the RA procedure on the second BWP when the UE determines to shift to the RRC CONNECTED state from the RRC INACTIVE state.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method of transmitting a data unit using a Random Access (RA) procedure by a user equipment (UE) in a wireless communication system. Especially, the method includes the steps of configuring a first RA preamble group and a second RA preamble group, wherein RA preambles belonging to the first RA preamble group indicates that a RA Response (RAR) is not required and RA preambles belonging to the second RA preamble group indicates that the RAR is required; selecting one of the first preamble group and the second RA preamble group based on whether a response of the transmitted data unit from a network is required or not; and transmitting one of the RA preambles belonging to the selected RA preamble group with the data unit to the network.
