Abstract:
A method for scanning by a STA can comprise the steps of: the STA unicasting a probe request frame to a target AP from a first channel, the target AP having been determined in accordance with a BSSID comprised in a primitive; the STA processing an ACK transmitted via the first channel within a first ACK transmission time, and determining whether the first ACK for the probe request frame is received; if the first ACK is received within the first ACK transmission time, then the STA monitoring a probe response frame, which is a response to the probe request frame from the first channel; and if the first ACK is not received within the first ACK transmission time, then regardless of a CCA level detected during the first ACK transmission time, the STA switching the scanning channel.
Abstract:
Disclosed are a method and an apparatus for accessing a channel in a wireless LAN. A method for a station (STA) initially accessing the channel in the wireless LAN comprises the steps of: the STA receiving from an access point (AP) a frame including channel state information and a set of an N (a natural number wherein N>1) number of access parameter sets; the STA selecting a random variable when the channel state information indicates that a wireless link is busy; the STA selecting one access parameter set from the N number of access parameter sets on the basis of the one access parameter and transmitting an association request frame to the AP.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a wireless communication system, and more specifically, to a method for setting up a high-speed link in a WLAN system and a device for the same. A method for setting up a high-speed link by a station (STA) in a WLAN system, according to one embodiment of the present invention, can comprise the steps of: transmitting a frame including identification information and/or fragment identification information of a previous access point (AP) from the STA to a current AP; and receiving Generic Advertisement Service (GAS) query response information from the current AP, wherein when the identification information of the previous AP is included in the frame, the GAS query response information can be acquired by the current AP from the previous AP.
Abstract:
A method and an apparatus for scanning in a wireless LAN are disclosed. The method for scanning in a wireless LAN comprises the steps of: enabling a station (STA) to receive, from a first access point (AP) operated in a first channel, a detection frame comprising identifier information of a second AP operated in a second channel and beacon frame transmission time information of the second AP, and enabling the STA to scan a beacon frame of the second AP on the basis of the beacon frame transmission time information of the second AP. Thus, the present invention can rapidly perform a scanning operation.
Abstract:
Disclosed are a scanning method and scanning apparatus in a wireless LAN. The scanning method in a wireless LAN comprises: a step in which an access point (AP) receives a first probe request frame from a first station (STA); a step in which the AP unicasts a first probe response frame to the first STA as a response to the first probe request frame; a step in which the AP receives a second probe request frame from a second STA for a specific time interval after unicasting the first probe response frame to the first STA; and a step in which the AP broadcasts a second probe response frame as a response to the second probe request frame for a specific time interval. Thus, scanning processes can be quickly performed.
Abstract:
In an embodiment of the present invention, a method for indicating, by an access point (AP) associated with a first basic service set (BSS), spatial reuse (SR) in a wireless LAN (WLAN) system includes transmitting a trigger frame which requests uplink multi-user (UL MU) transmission of a plurality of stations (STAs) and receiving an UL MU physical protocol data unit (PPDU) generated based on the trigger frame from the plurality of STAs. The trigger frame may include SR indication information for indicating the SR of an overlapping BSS (OBSS) STA. The first high efficiency (HE)-signal (SIG) A field of the UL MU PPDU may include SR support information generated based on the SR indication information.
Abstract:
In a wireless local area network system, a station (STA) generates a physical (PHY) protocol data unit (PPDU) including at least one subframe and information related to a subframe length, wherein the subframe may include a medium access control (MAC) protocol data unit (MPDU) and a padding bit. The length of the padding bit may be determined such that the length of the subframes is an integer multiple of a codeword length. The information related to the subframe length may be information on the number of codewords related to the subframe length. A step in which the STA transmits the PPDU may be comprised.
Abstract:
In the wireless LAN system, the station STA receives a frame and updates a corresponding Inter-BSS Network Allocation Vector (NAV) or Intra-BSS NAV according to whether the frame is an Inter-BSS (Basic Service Set) frame or an Intra-BSS frame. If the received frame cannot be distinguished from the Inter-BSS frame or the Intra-BSS frame, it updates the Inter-NAV, and after receiving the frame that cannot be distinguished from the Inter-BSS frame or the Intra-BSS frame, it receives the CF-End frame, and then the corresponding NAV is reset.
Abstract:
A method and a device for transmitting data in a wireless LAN system are proposed. Specifically, an AP transmits a band switch announcement element through a first band supported by a first and a second RF. The AP changes the first band, supported by the second RF, to a second band on the basis of the band switch announcement element. The AP transmits first data to an STA through the first band supported by the first RF and the second band supported by the second RF. The first data is transmitted through a multiple band in which the first band and the second band are combined.
Abstract:
