Abstract: A delivery device that travels along rails and delivers a package is provided. The rails include at least first and second rails. The delivery device includes: a main body; a connector that is configured to be connected to the rails, with the main body hanging from the connector, and with the rails being spaced apart from a ground surface; at least one actuator that drives the connector; a lift motor that is capable of taking up a wire for unloading the package; and a control circuit. When the delivery device is slidably hung from the first rail, the control circuit: switches from the first rail to the second rail by controlling the actuator; and lets out the wire and lowers the package by controlling the lift motor.

Abstract: An encoder includes memory and circuitry which: (i) encodes an image block; (ii) when encoding the image block: binarizes coefficient information indicating coefficients of the image block; and controls whether to apply arithmetic encoding to a binary data string obtained by binarizing the coefficient information; and (iii) when binarizing the coefficient information: binarizes the coefficient information according to a first syntax structure when arithmetic encoding is applied to the data string and a predetermined condition is not satisfied; binarizes the coefficient information according to a second syntax structure when arithmetic encoding is applied to the data string and the predetermined condition is satisfied; binarizes the coefficient information according to the second syntax structure when no arithmetic encoding is applied to the data string; and subtracts 1 from a value of an initial non-zero coefficient when no arithmetic encoding is applied to the data string when encoding the image block.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a user equipment, with a processor which upon being triggered by a random access events, determines random access transmission parameters to be used by the UE for transmitting a random access message to its base station. At least part of the random access transmission parameters are determined based on the random access event that triggered the transmission of the random access message and on random access configuration information. The random access configuration information associates each of a plurality of random access events with a set of random access transmission parameters among a plurality of random access transmission parameters usable by the user equipment to transmit a random access message to the base station. A transmitter of the UE transmits the random access message to the base station using the determined random access transmission parameters.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to receiving and transmitting data in a frame with subframes of a wireless communication system, each subframe being either an uplink subframe accommodating uplink signal, a downlink subframe accommodating downlink signal or a special subframe including a downlink signal portion as well as an uplink signal portion. A control signal includes a special subframe configuration specifying the length of the uplink and/or downlink portion of the special subframe. The mapping and demapping of user data and/or control data including feedback information in a transmission time interval, TTI, onto or from one subframe is then performed, wherein the length of a second TTI for mapping onto the uplink portion of a special subframe is shorter than a first TTI for mapping onto an uplink subframe, or a first number of TTIs mapped onto the uplink subframe is larger than a second number of TTIs for mapping onto the uplink portion of a special subframe. The data are received or transmitted accordingly.

Abstract: In a base station, control circuitry determines, based on an offset for defining a frequency position of a narrowband allocated to an MPDCCH and a resource block group size of a system band, allocations of a first EPDCCH set and a second EPDCCH set that constitute the MPDCCH. The MPDCCH is a PDCCH for MTC. The second EPDCCH set has a different number of PRBs from the first EPDCCH set. A transmitter transmits a control signal according to the allocations of the first EPDCCH set and the second EPDCCH set. Further, the control circuitry controls a number of RBGs in which both the first EPDCCH set and the second EPDCCH set are allocated to be zeto or one.
