    Abstract: The present disclosure describes various examples of a method, an apparatus, and a computer readable medium for signaling synchronization block patterns in wireless communications (e.g., 5th Generation New Radio (5G NR)). For example, one of the methods described may include receiving, by a user equipment (UE), a message including information of a configuration. The configuration includes at least a group of repetitions of one or more synchronization signal (SS) blocks in an SS burst set, and the repetitions of the one or more SS blocks are configured into at least two groups. The method may further include determining, by the UE, which group of the at least two groups to search for during a synchronous neighbor cell search based on the information and at least one condition at the UE.

    Abstract: Sidelink TX power control is disclosed. In a particular implementation, a method of wireless communication includes selecting, by a user equipment (UE), a first access link of multiple access links. Each of the multiple access links available for communication between the UE and a base station. The method also includes determining, by the UE, a sidelink transmission power based on the first access link. The method further includes transmitting, by the UE, data to an electronic device via a sidelink based on the sidelink transmission power.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In some examples, a first UE may receive an indication of first resources from a second UE. In some examples, the second UE may be a UE configured to receive a transmission from a third UE over the first resources. In some such examples, the first UE may transmit, to a fourth UE, a sidelink transmission over available resources that exclude the first resources. Additionally, or alternatively, the second UE may be a UE that received sidelink control information from the third UE indicating the resources for transmission by the third UE to a fourth UE. In some such examples, the first UE may transmit, to the second UE, a sidelink transmission over available resources that exclude the first resources.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for transmit power control for positioning using non-serving cells are described. A user equipment (UE) may determine that an uplink reference signal may be associated with a positioning procedure. In some cases, the positioning procedure may include transmission, by the UE, of the reference signal to a non-serving cell, which may be farther away from the UE than a serving cell. The UE may determine an absence of a parameter associated with a transmit power for transmitting the reference signal. Based on the absence, the UE may determine the transmit power based on parameters received from a serving cell, based on configuration information, based on a message intercepted from the non-serving cell, or based on other considerations or information. In some cases, the UE may determine the transmit power such that the likelihood of the non-serving cell receiving the reference signal is increased.

    Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods, and devices for wireless communication that support positioning reference signal (PRS)-assisted beam management. In particular, various aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for a network entity to select a beam of a plurality of beams for communications between a base station and a user equipment (UE) based on line-of-sight (LOS) path detection results. In some implementations, the LOS path detection results may include an indication as to whether a PRS includes an LOS path signal and/or an NLOS, and/or a signal strength of the LOS path signal, as well as other information that a network entity (e.g., a UE or a base station) may use in a beam management procedure (e.g., to select a beam). Other aspects and features are also claimed and described.

A second apparatus may receive, on a first control channel, information indicating a first set of resources allocated on a second control channel; receive, from a second UE based on the first set of resources allocated on the second control channel, information associated with communication on a data channel; and receive data from the second UE on the data channel based on the information associated with the communication on the data channel.
