    Abstract: This application relates to wireless communications, including methods and apparatus to manage uplink (UL) transmit switching with multiple timing advance groups (TAGs) for wireless devices. A wireless device is configured to use multiple carriers selected from a set of available carriers that can be associated with different TAGs. When a second set of carriers, used after switching from a first set of carriers, includes carriers that belong to different TAGs, the wireless device determines whether to transmit on one or more first uplink transmission occasions for each of the carriers in the second set of carriers based on whether a first UL transmission occasion for at least one carrier overlaps a switching gap time period. The wireless device can disallow transmission on first UL transmission occasions of one or more carriers to accommodate the overlap.

    Abstract: Some aspects of this disclosure relate to apparatuses and methods for implementing transmission of nominal repetitions of data over an unlicensed spectrum. One or more nominal repetitions of data are to be transmitted by a user equipment (UE) over an unlicensed spectrum used for both uplink and downlink transmissions. The one or more nominal repetitions of the data are segmented into multiple actual repetitions of portions of the data. The UE identifies an orphan symbol in an actual repetition of the multiple actual repetitions of portions of the data, and determines a filler symbol to replace the orphan symbol in the actual repetition. In addition, the UE transmits the multiple actual repetitions including the filler symbol in replacement of the orphan symbol to a base station over the unlicensed spectrum.

    Abstract: Some aspects of this disclosure relate to apparatuses and methods for implementing downlink and uplink scheduling in communication above 52.6 GHz. For example, some aspects of this disclosure relate to a base station. The base station includes a transceiver configured to communicate over a wireless network with a user equipment (UE) and a processor communicatively coupled to the transceiver. The processor determines that the communication between the base station and the UE is in a frequency range above 52.6 GHz. In response to the determination, the processor disables a frequency main resource assignment (FDRA), modifies a Resource Block Group (RBG) size, or modifies a Resource Indication Value (RIV) determination. The processor generates a Downlink Channel Indicator (DCI) based at least on one or more of the disabled FDRA, the modified RBG size, or the modified RIV determination. The processor transmits, using the transceiver, the DCI to the UE.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for signaling cross-division duplex configurations. One of the methods includes identifying, by a first device and for a first link with a second device, a switch in a first bandwidth part to a second bandwidth part for the first link, the first link associated with a second link having a third bandwidth part; determining, by the first device, whether a bandwidth band between the second bandwidth part and the third bandwidth part satisfies a threshold guard band; and selectively determining to maintain the third bandwidth part for the second link or to switch the third bandwidth part to a fourth bandwidth part for the second link using a result of the determination whether the bandwidth band between the second bandwidth part and the third bandwidth part satisfies the threshold guard band.
