    Abstract: Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, obtaining a first plurality of inputs that identify a plurality of geographical locations and a plurality of infrastructure located at the plurality of geographical locations, classifying each of the plurality of geographical locations in accordance with the first plurality of inputs to obtain a plurality of classes, obtaining a second plurality of inputs that identify costs, revenue, profits, or any combination thereof, associated with the plurality of infrastructure, processing the second plurality of inputs in conjunction with the plurality of classes to identify a first plurality of locations included in the plurality of geographical locations to decommission infrastructure included in the plurality of infrastructure, and presenting the first plurality of locations via a device.     Abstract: Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, a virtual network element that includes a plurality of virtual machine modules configured to process a plurality of control packets in a virtualized telecommunication network. A classifier module is configured to receive telecommunications traffic that includes the plurality of control packets and a plurality of data packets, to separate the plurality of control plane data from the at least one data packet, and to forward the plurality of control packets to selected ones of the plurality of virtual machine modules. A forwarding device, coupled to the classifier module and separate from the plurality of virtual machine modules, is configured to forward the plurality of data packets in the virtualized telecommunication network.     Abstract: In one example, a processing system of a mobile computing device including at least one processor may capture visual information of a first location, transmit a recognition request to a first server, the recognition request comprising the visual information, obtain a first recognition result from the first server comprising first annotation content associated with a first item in the visual information of the first location, the first recognition result further comprising visual information of the first item, present at least a portion of first annotation content via the mobile computing device, store the first annotation content and the visual information of the first item in a local cache, detect a first additional mobile computing device via a non-cellular wireless communication modality, and share the first annotation content and the visual information of the first item with the first additional mobile computing device via the non-cellular wireless communication modality.
