Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, devices, apparatus, and methods, including computer programs encoded on storage media, for a sidelink coverage extension using repeated transmission. A first UE may transmit a multiple slot SCI in a first slot of a group of multiple slots for reserving resources for the group of multiple slots and transmitting one or more sidelink transmissions in the reserved resources. A second UE may receive the multiple slot SCI in the first slot of the group of multiple slots for receiving the one or more sidelink transmissions in the reserved resources for the group of multiple slots. In aspects, a base station may receive configuration parameters for the multiple slot SCI and configure one or more UEs with a multiple slot configuration, based on the configuration parameters, for transmitting/receiving the multiple slot SCI associated with the reserved resources in the group of multiple slots.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In one aspect, a first user equipment (UE) may transmit an indication of non-preferred resources to a second UE and an indication of an amount of transmit power reduction for the second UE to observe for a sidelink transmission on the non-preferred resources. In another aspect, a first UE may transmit an indication of an amount of transmit power reduction for a second UE to observe for a sidelink transmission on conflicting resources (e.g., resources reserved by the second UE and a third UE). Because the second UE may transmit on the non-preferred resources or the conflicting resources with reduced power (e.g., rather than suppressing transmissions on the non-preferred resources or the conflicting resources), the utilization of the non-preferred resources or the conflicting resources may be improved.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. Generally, the described techniques provide for forward/retransmitting a data transmission to a target UE through a helper UE. A helper UE may receive a data transmission from a network node, determining whether the received data transmission is intended for a target UE or for the helper UE itself, based on a control message, and retransmitting the data transmission to the target UE upon determining that the data transmission is intended for the target UE. A network node such as a base station may transmit a control message to at least a help UE, the control message comprising an indicator of whether a data transmission is intended for the helper UE or a target UE and transmit the data transmission to at least the helper UE and the target UE.

Abstract: Disclosed are techniques for determining tone patterns for transmission of reference signals. One or more parameters associated with communications with a base station over a time duration, may be determined by a user equipment. The user equipment may determine, based on the one or more parameters, a tone pattern for a reference signal for use in communications with the base station over a future time duration. In some systems, a semi-static split with a greater duration for communications between a controller and one or more associated sensor/actuators than a duration for communications between the controller and base station can be used. Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for group semi-persistent scheduling (SPS) for path diversity. A method that may be performed by a node includes configuring one or more groups of user equipments (UEs) with one or more SPS resources. The node sends a downlink control information (DCI) to activate one of the SPS resources for one of the groups of UEs and transmits data to the group of UEs using the activated SPS resource. A first UE may receive data from the node using the activated SPS resource and retransmit the data to the second UE. The first helping UE and the second targeted UE may be identified based on the higher layer configuration with the SPS resources, based on information in the DCI, and/or based on information sent with the data.
