Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. A communication device, such as a user equipment (UE) may determine a transmit diversity configuration indicating a transmit diversity criterion for declaring a result of a channel access procedure for a plurality of component carriers in a shared radio frequency spectrum band. The UE may perform the channel access procedure for the plurality of component carriers in the shared radio frequency spectrum band to determine the result of the channel access procedure based at least in part on the transmit diversity criterion. As a result, the UE may transmit or refrain from transmitting a message over at least one component carrier of the plurality of component carriers based at least in part on the result of the channel access procedure.

Abstract: The apparatus may be a first UE. The first UE may determine a first set of candidate BPLs associated with a first SL and a second set of candidate BPLs associated with a second SL. The first UE may establish FD communication with the second UE based on the selected first BPL and the selected second BPL.

Abstract: Aspects relate to techniques for sidelink transmissions scheduled by network entities. A UE may receive a resource reservation message from a transmitting UE indicating resources granted by a network entity for a first sidelink transmission. The UE may detect a conflict between the first sidelink transmission and a second sidelink transmission and transmit a conflict indication in response to detecting the conflict. The UE may transmit the conflict indication to the transmitting UE or to the network entity. Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for channel estimation for two-stage sidelink control using sidelink data channel demodulation reference signals (DMRS). A user equipment (UE) can transmit DMRS for the sidelink data channel. The UE may transmit the second stage of the sidelink control using antenna ports or a precoder used for the sidelink data channel. The receiving device may receive the DMRS, estimate the channel, and demodulate the second stage of the sidelink control based on the estimated channel. The receiving device may flexibly determine the DMRS to use for the estimation and demodulation.
