    摘要: A replacement solenoid switch valve assembly for an automatic transmission system is disclosed. The switch valve assembly includes a switch valve member, which acts in conjunction with an interlocking valve disc set. The disc set is configured for reciprocating movement in tandem and also enables axial shifting movement of the discs relative to one another to support the functions of the solenoid switch valve assembly. This is accomplished by providing an axial stem which projects in perpendicular relation from a first disc. A mating hole in the second disc is radially disposed on the stem in sliding engagement thereon effectively interlocking the discs in alignment. In an installation method of the present invention, the tandem disc set is provided in standard size as a drop-in replacement for valve bodies that do not exhibit excessive bore wear and also in an oversize embodiment for valve bodies showing excessive wear.

    摘要: Even if a rotational speed of an engine has already increased due to slipping of a fluid torque converter at the time of start of downshifting, a smooth downshifting is performed. For that purpose, there is obtained a speed change developing degree function K(etrm) of the rotational speed of the engine at the time of start of downshifting, the developing degree being dependent on an increase in the rotational speed of the engine due to slipping in the fluid torque converter. The function K(etrm) is obtained with a speed ratio "etrm" of the fluid torque converter at the time of starting of downshifting as a parameter. A boosting correction value QDNOFFZ is computed by multiplying a reference correction value QDNOFFZO by K(etrm) (step S108-5). The hydraulic pressure of the hydraulic engaging element on the disengaging side during downshifting is boosted by the amount of QDNOFFZ (step S108-6).

    摘要: A vehicle automatic transmission including a torque converter, a multiple stage transmission gear mechanism connected with the torque converter and a hydraulic control circuit for automatically selecting one of gear stages of the transmission gear mechanism. The hydraulic control circuit includes a kickdown control device which functions to shift down the gear mechanism when the engine control foot pedal is substantially fully depressed. Depending on the vehicle running condition, the kickdown control device shifts down the gear mechanism by two gear stages. The hydraulic circuit includes control circuit which functions to shift down the gear mechanism at first by one gear stage and then by a further one stage in sequence when a two stage shift down is required.
