Abstract: This application provides a message generation method, a message processing method, a message generation apparatus, and a message processing apparatus. The message generation method includes: obtaining, by a first device, a segment identifier list SID list, where the SID list includes a plurality of segment identifiers SIDs, the first N bits of the plurality of SIDs are the same, and N is a positive integer; generating, by the first device, a first message based on the SID list, where the first message includes a first part and a second part, the first part includes the first N bits of the plurality of SIDs, and the second part includes bit N+1 to bit 128 of each of the plurality of SIDs; and sending, by the first device, the first message to a second device.

Abstract: A method, includes receiving a packet flow optimization policy including a flow identifier of a target packet flow, a device identifier of a to-be-adjusted forwarding device, and information about the next hop; obtaining status information of an access control list (ACL) of the to-be-adjusted forwarding device based on the device identifier, where the status information includes resource usage status information of the ACL and capability information that indicates whether the to-be-adjusted forwarding device supports packet flow forwarding that is based on the ACL; and when determining, based on the status information, that the ACL includes an idle resource and the to-be-adjusted forwarding device supports packet flow forwarding that is based on the ACL, sending an ACL record to the to-be-adjusted forwarding device, where the ACL record includes the flow identifier and the information about the next hop.

Abstract: A route processing method, a device, and a system, where the method includes: a network virtualization edge (NVE) device set including at least two NVE devices includes a common Virtual Etensible Local Area Network (VXLAN) Tunnel Endpoint (VTEP) address. The common VTEP address is used to identify a common VTEP, and the common VTEP is deployed on each NVE device in the NVE device set.
